Im looking for new websites where i could find ideas for my bh sites, wh sites targeted for my country(poland), niches etc.

there are many major websites like mashable, readwriteweb, etc. --- but - on those sites there are shitloads of posts everyday and i dont want to waste time for this. besides most of the posts are for people living in dreams. I dont want to read about every change on facebook, because i cant copy that in any way.

my main aim is to predict things like bitcoin getting worth much, or knowing about Google Plus the same day its announced, but i dont want to spend 3hrs/day reading news services.

So far I use those websites for news and read them everyday with my rss feed reader and think.

one more thing. ive searched for hours but havent found this one:

do you know a tool or a website which will tell me of new sites that are rapidly rising in popularity, but still arent very popular, for example alexa 500,000 to 5,000 in 1 week?

that would be golden.

thanks

LOL now u invented the idea of a golden tool...but you will need to realize it:)

OP: One way I keep track of what's going on is with Yoono in my web browser. I hook it up to my Twitter feeds of my favorite sites, like Mashable and Slashdot, and, while I am working, I can quickly see what's going on. If I see a story that looks interesting I click on the bit.ly (or whatever link it is) link and read it for a moment. It has helped me stay on top of things pretty well.

Yoono is an addon for Mozilla by the way....you can also use it for chat through Gmail/AIM, etc...

Good luck!

ill check it out thanks

What do you mean? There are tons of "news" sites:

cnn
foxnews
msnbc

You get the idea. Is that what you are talking about?

its impossible to find something useful stuff there.

im talking about finding the black swan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_swan_theory)

One of the very best ways that I have gotten good ideas, was to pick one method and get to work. When I've done that, ideas began to flow on how to improve on the method. Sometimes, when customers have been involved, they will send me an email which opens up new ideas.

The key is "Go To Work"

I actually subscribe to a ton of print magazines to find ideas (had to use my SkyMiles for something)

The question is are you fast enough in real life to monetize this news trends when you learn them before everybody ?

Honestly answer this question. If the answer is No , then relax and keep your eyes here in BHW. you will still definitely hear news earlier then 99% of non IM people :)..

I follow BBC's "click online".

The last bit with the blond girl normally gives you news of new sites that are growing in popularity.
