I just realized I've come to my 500th post. In honor of my almost three years here and 500 posts, I thought I should probably do something special. I didn't exactly know what to share, but I decided to make a post not of a specific method but of a mindset. This may contain bits and pieces of my previous posts, but it's necessary in order to jumpstart some people's brains that haven't made money yet and put them on the track of success. I’m not sure where I’m going to go with this post, but if you take the time to read this post I can guarantee you will see success THIS YEAR. I’m just going to write and see where my mind takes me. Ok great! You've read the ebook (you better not have gone against the reader agreement above). I hope you found that as enlightening as I found it just last year. Yes, I said last year. I really didn't start making serious money online until about one year ago. It's when I read that ebook and realized that I had an inner belief system that was far from the truth. I was like an 8,000 pound elephant being "tied down" by ropes not knowing that, without much force, I would be able to break free. Once I was able to realize this, it wasn't long after that I began to prosper online...


I've noticed that an increasing amount of BHW members are young people. I think that's GREAT! I started off young. And it's great to start off young because you have nothing to lose! You don't have a mortgage or bills to pay. You don't have another job to do (besides school and I know that probably could be considered one). You just have yourself and a computer and a lot of free time. And it's actually a great advantage (if you think it’s a disadvantage it’s because you haven’t read the ebook I told you to read)! Even when you're young, you can still do a lot of things to earn money online. No, you can't have an eBay account or PayPal account, but if you are fortunate enough you can use your parents account or have them create one on your behalf. When you're 15 you can get a debit card and a checking account. Once you have these at your disposal, you are able to get an eBay account and a PayPal account. Now I'm starting to ramble... Let me get started...

The reason I brought up age is because you can never be too young to start off internet marketing (although there are limits people! Please don't try to teach your 6 year old affiliate marketing. He doesn't need to get into Clickbank that early). There are many methods that you are still able to implement even though you’re young. The thing you need to focus on, and it's really easy to do when you're young because you don't need to worry about profitting right away (no bills to pay), is to do what you love. Do what you have a passion for.

For me, when I was 12 or 13, I loved playing online games. My parents would always be nagging at me to go outside and play because I'd be on this new site that no one had ever heard of called addictinggames (very small online game site). I had always loved the internet, I started becoming increasingly interested in internet marketing, and I needed to get my parents off my back, so I created an online game site. I did my research and found a script that I liked, installed it on my catchy domain name, and had the beginning of a website. It became my hobby. If I saw a game on addictinggames that I liked, I'd add it to my website. If I saw a highly rated game, I'd add it to my website. I wanted my site to be a site that I would want to play on, and a site where all my friends would want to play as well.

The reason this was such a good start to internet marketing was because it taught me (from the ground-up) about SEO, backlinks, analytics, adsense, ad placement, CPC, and a whole lot of other website and internet marketing terminology. Like I mentioned, this site was my pride and joy. I'd work on the layout and adding games every day. After roughly six months or so, I started to see some revenue coming in. It wasn't more than $.50 cents a day via adsense, but for me that was amazing! I couldn't wait to come home at the end of the day to see how much my site had earned that day. By the end of my first year I think I was up to $2 a day on adsense. (Please, stick with me. There are lessons to be learned). It came time to renew my hosting, but I had lost money. I was kind of discouraged that I lost money, but the thing I stuck to was that my site was earning $2 a day! It had been growing since day 1. I wanted to see how much I could earn and how many visitors I could acrue by the second year. I renewed my hosting and the domain and I was on my way.

Long story short, every month I could see my income gradually rise. Now, instead of sitting hours on end in front of the computer adding games and promoting my site, I was able to spend a couple hours a week at most on my site and still make the same amount of profits. I soon found out that I could leave my site alone for a month and still make a profit! My site was on autopilot! As a 15 year old, I had a site making about $3 a day, having to do a required hour of work a week to keep up with members and faulty games, etc. To this day I have the same website, bringing in revenue. I put the term "set it and forget it" to good use (it seems that term doesn't run true nowadays. Come to think of it, my site needs a lot of work so I should probably get to that after making this post).



I thought I’d use my life example to show show you that if you follow your passion, you will always come out on top. I'm not saying my online game site was a big success, I'm just saying you can be successful when you're young and use that start as a platform to grow. If you're passionate about something, you will never lose interest in it. Tedious work seems like fun. Long hours fly by (time flies when you’re having fun. If you don't follow your passion, you'll be spending a lot of long hours on the job).

Notice though, that I didn't find success right away. A big quote I stick to (and I'm not sure if I'm quoting this correctly I just remember it from somewhere) says, "You don't fail at internet marketing, you just quit before you succeed." I believe this with my whole heart.

Internet marketing is like a loss leader in the business world. A loss leader is basically when a company sells an item at a loss because they know that later on they will make up for it by high profits in other items they sell. For instance, when the Playstation 3 came out, Sony sold them all at a loss. The reason they were able to do this was because they knew everyone would need to purchase the games for the new system, and gamesare sold at pretty much 100% profit. By the end of the year, they were making a killer profit. (bluray players have since decreased in price and supplies have become cheaper). The reason I brought this up is because internet marketing is quite the same way (or at least similar to this principle). Like the game website I made, you may be only seeing small profits to begin with. These profits might not be enough to justify the startup or running costs. But just know this: success won't come immediately. Persistance is key.

If you expect success from the getgo, you will be disappointed. But, if you even see a small profit, GET EXCITED. This brings me to one of my bigger points of the post: everything in internet marketing is scalable (did I just make up a word? ... no I just checked. Already a word). If you see a profit anywhere in your internet marketing journey, pursue that method. Imprint in it in your brain. More money can be made! How could I scale my online game site? MAKE MORE SITES! It's as simple as that (although the online games niche isn't the best to go into if you were wondering).

If I wanted to stick to my passion, I could have made more and more online game sites. It would have taken a lot of work, but in the end it would scale up my earnings. If you're doing craigslist posting, post more ads. If you're making a blog, make more blogs! If you are making $4 from one method, what can you do in order to get five times the amount of work done? Saying "make more" is not always the answer though. Sometime scaling up is innovating on the idea that you already have. An example of an innovation would be to make video comments for a CPA offer you’re doing via craigslist and you now start to see more income from the video comments you’ve been doing.

As long as you can take these three things away from this post you will succeed (but still read on. There’s a tip below that is guaranteed to make you money TODAY). This is what I like to call the triangle of internet marketing. When you are able to utilize and balance all three corners of the triangle, you will succeed.

To review (just in case you forgot the three concepts):
- Pursue your passions.
- Success won’t come immediately. Be persistent.
- Every method is scalable. SCALE UP EVERYTHING.

OK. So now you've got these three main points in your head (If their not in your head, I'm going to go over them one more time. No? Ok... well if they're not in your head then just scroll up a little and take another look at them. They should be color coordinated). It will benefit you to write them down. Well now that you know the triangle of internet marketing, you can now start putting some methods into action. This is the key to internet marketing success. If you put methods into action, you will succeed. Let me repeat myself. The key to internet marketing success is to put the methods you read here on BHW into action. That means GO OUT AND ACTUALLY DO THEM! Let me help you out a little bit (don’t get offended. I’m not trying to offend you. It’s just a common truth that most people won’t succeed because they don’t implement the methods they read). Here is exactly what I have been doing for about a year now. It has increased my doing by 1000% and decreased my reading accordingly. If you follow these 10 steps, you will succeed:

1) Log onto to blackhatworld. Look at the index page of new posts.

2) Ooh look! It’s a thread with a method... *click*

3) Read the great method that a member is sharing free of charge to you

4) DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT “can I even make money with this method?

5) Open a new word document or notepad

6) Copy and paste the post you just read into the word document or notepad

7) THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP: QUIT OUT OF BLACKHATWORLD

8) Now that you have BHW out of the way, read the post again (on your word document or notepad) and follow the steps they provide to implement the method. It may take you (realisitically) 30 minutes to complete. If you don’t make money, then you don’t make money (see next section below). But if you make even a little cash then use the internet marketing triangle to keep increasing your profits until you are making a steady amount of money each day from that one method.

9) Save that method in a folder on your desktop. Label the folder “Methods I Implement”. Label the document with the methods name i.e. “File Sharing Cash”.

10) Repeat every day with a new method you find on BHW. Continue to implement all methods you have in your “Methods I Implement” folder EVERY DAY. By the end of the first year. I guarantee you will be earning $100 a day (how can I guarantee this? Well I’ve followed these exact steps and have had these results. You have access to the same information I do).

What? The methods you're now putting into action aren't working? They're too old you say? Outdated. Right? WRONG! The same methods that worked five years ago are still working today. Not in the same exact form however. The key to renewing old methods, is to find a twist.

Time after time you will see people post “This method worked three years ago, but not anymore…” or you will see them say “this is an old method. Good luck making anything off it now.” For instance, there was a guy that posted yesterday about a method to make money with sharing torrents. (basically download a video trailer from youtube. Make a new .rar archive. Password protect it. Upload a .txt file to sharecash with the password in it. Put a notepad in it that's not password protected saying "get password at sharcashfileurl". Post on torrents as a leaked clip of a movie coming out soon.) People posted about how “this method doesn’t work anymore blah blah blah.” I laugh at posts like these. Most (if not all) old methods will bring you some profit (even if it is close to none) if you try to implement it today. You will still make some money from it.

The posters bashing old methods are right in the sense that you will not make as much as you used to be able to, but you can. How? By being able to use a little creativity to twist a method.

A twist does not have to be dramatic. Just something to make it unique in your own way. When you find a twist to an old method, you will have a hot method making you $20+/day EASILY. Don’t be worried and think that you’re going to have to be able to create something new. Many of my twists on old methods were by accident. I just did steps 1-10 listed above. When I was reading the method off of my notepad, I accidentally did a step wrong. Or I forgot what a step was and just tried to do what I thought was best.

If you are having trouble thinking of twists, I suggest doing old methods without twists. While you are implementing them, think of what would “get you” if you were the downloader. In example of the sharecash torrent post that was posted just yesterday… if you were going to download a file, and you wanted it for free, what would you be downloading. Also, what title would you most likely click on out of hundreds to download the file? You need to ask yourself simple questions by putting yourself in the person “giving” you the money’s shoes. Once you stumble upon a twist, you are in for a treat. Once you stumble upon a twist, you will succeed.

I hope you noticed that throughout the post I bolded you will succeed countless times (probably countable now that I think of it). This is because if you follow the main points of this post, you will succeed. It’s as simple as that!



It’s about 5:00am where I am. Started this post about 1:00am or so. Sorry for rambling on (I tend to do that when I write late at night). I really do hope you were able to gain something by reading my post. I really tried to give you some motivation because it seems we all could use a little. Hopefully the little motivation is all it's going to take for you to take action. If you were able to take even just one sentence away from this, then the whole post was worth it.

Excellent thoughts there and so true! It is so easy to be distracted into just reading up on things too much and not actually doing something! I'm new and making peanuts at the moment but at least with everything I've actually tried I have made something maybe just a few cents, but occasionally real cash dollars into my paypal account too!

Some things work better than others but nothing will work if you don't actually do something positive. Eventually I will stumble upon my perfect niche and there are no obstacles bigger than your own mental attitude.

Good post, $100/day is a nice goal for newbies. I however, wouldn't follow your passion. Just go where the money goes.

When I was a noob I stumbled around trying to build websites in every niche possible, I was barely making $5/day. Then it all seemed to hit me. Currently I'm making about $150/day, even so I don't feel successful yet.

There are people out there pushing $20,000+ a day, if they can do it so can someone else.

Ranking on 2nd position for "online games" with generates 55,600,000 global and 13,600,000 local. Make the math =D

I wanted to make a post about this becasue I forgot to mention it in my original post; I love helping people. I would be more than willing to help you out with your arcade site, and I would also be more than willing to help you out with anything else you might have on your. Thanks for posting. These are some quite common questions I get. Let me answer them one by one:

1. It's not a question whether the method you are reading is profitable, it's a question of whether you will take action or not. That's why my original post was about taking action. I have never once questioned if a method shared was profitable or not. You know why? Because the person sharing is sharing from personal experience. It's what they have done and the steps they have taken to make money with that method. Most of the time the thread will even be numbered with steps to take! If the person that created the post could make money from the method, there is no reason that you cant't make money from it as well. You have the same knowledge available to you. You will make money as long as you put the method into action.

If you implement a method, but it doesn't make you much money, I'd still stick with it. Save it in your "Methods I Implement" folder and every day work on scaling it up and trying to add your own twists. By the end of the year you'll find the methods that were only making you $.50 cents a day are now making you $5, $10, $20, or even $100/day.



2. Let me start by acknowledging this: Whitehat sites are harder to earn a profit from than blackhat sites... initially. Blackhat methods are nice schemes, but they're not necessarily "honest" ways to make money. An example of a blackhat method would be to spam craigslist. With this method you need to spend time each day to post, think of new ads, find better cpa offers, etc. You will tend to see a profit immediately. But over time, these blackhat methods aren't stable. You won't be able to say it's a method you can "set and forget". That bring me to whitehat methods. Whitehat methods take a lot of work (all methods take a lot of work, but you will need more work for a whitehat method in order to make a profit). An example of a whitehat method is creating a blog. You like to write about dogs. So every day you add to your blog, making new posts, finding new followers, etc. It's going to be harder to make that blog successful quickly without using some blackhat methods. But in the long run, you will find that a whitehat method can become something that you can "set and forget". A whitehat method can eventually become an autopilot income stream. Once you have a solid blog with hundreds of quality posts about dogs; facts, training tips, supplies, best food, etc. your blog is complete. You will continue to get new visitors and followers every day, without having to do much work.

What I'm trying to get at, is to base your revenue off of a whitehat method, but then utilize some blackhat methods to make your whitehat work more profitable. So yes, use both methods at the same time. But try to base your initial time investment into thinking of and creating whitehat ideas.

How do you motivate yourself to take action everyday?

This was the kick in the butt I need. One of the problems I've been having is that there is just so much to learn! I just started a Wordpress niche site and I have one post on there. But then I started reading about autoblogging and plugins and I got sidetracked. It can be a bit overwhelming at time. I like your methods, I already set aside time in the week to work on IM, so I will incorporate it into my schedule.

Its just threads like this BHW needs not threads that looks like an SOS bottle message "help me need an 10$ day method". Motivational threads in my opinion shares 50/50 importance with methods posts some methods gets outdated and you need some hint/service to apply your own twist for example "pay with a tweet" method its just genial for twitter even I liked because I had serious problems in getting twitter quality traffic since they really sucks the solution was to make massive spam and with that site you get your own spam workers for free lol and again motivational/journey threads are good to see that its not dead the method you just need to brainstorm a good twist/niche to roll your cash

This is a good post, I'm sure that if people actually do what you say they'll have success, but I'm sure most of them won't...

3. Well like I said I started out with an online game site. I then moved onto clickbank. I utilized youtube, blogs, and a couple of other solid sources to really maximize on affiliate profits. I then read some information on torrents and that as a GREAT money maker last year. I then tried to do craigslist posting. I had some success manually, but knew that if I wanted to make a good amount of money I would have to invest in CLAD and BHAR. I then read the thread that was recently posted about torrents and might get back into it a little, though the methods that used to work don't seem to be working as well anymore. I also do some autoblogs along the way.

The main thing I do, is focus on offline marketing. You wouldn't believe how many people do not know they can utilize the internet to make money! I do everything from teaching newbies to make money online in my community to doing SEO for local businesses. There really is a wide spectrum of what you can with offline marketing, and the best part about it, is that you don't need to be an expert on SEO or IM. The people you are doing business with KNOW NOTHING about internet marketing. Anything you do seems wondrous to them. In the end, offline marketing will leave you with massive profits and many satisfied customers.



4. I covered this at the end of my number 3, but I am making most of my income from whitehat methods. Like I said, once you establish whitehat methods, they become very stable sources of income. And in some cases they become autpilot revenue streams. If you feel you have a pretty good grasp on internet marketing, you may want to look into offline marketing.

With that being said, I do make a good amount with blackhat methods still. I have since purchased CLAD and BHAR. It's really not hard to make money with these softwares, it's just the initial investment that is a killer. Yes, I practice what I preach. I do have a folder on my desktop labeled "Methods I Implement" and I do try to read a new method every day and try to implement it. The fact of the matter is, this works. If you follow the 10 steps in my original post, you will make money. You will succeed.

Wow, I'm surprised to get a pm for a thanks. I thought your post was great and inspiring. I've been around here only 1 yr less than you have and I wish I was anywhere near where you most likely are in your business. I agree starting out when you're younger is a perfect time.. as having bills to pay can seriously affect your own thoughts about your ability to be successful. I can say I fall into the trap of not trying things for fear of failure/money & time wasted or because of information overload and where to start.

When I started out on here ewhoring was the thing to do. I regret making that my first thing I tried. I kept having thing after thing get in my way until finally I had to stop because of lack of funds. Also, getting burned by a couple people on here. I gave up on BHW for awhile after that. My mistake I guess was first trying to do something that I felt was a little too spammy/scammy for my conscience and second was giving up after my first major "failure".

Anyways, enough about my story.. this is supposed to be about your post. I think my favorite thing you talked about was "how to find a twist". I have to say that is one of the most annoying things about this forum. Everything is "this will make you $12 mill/day!... BUT...... you have to add a twist". Newbies don't know how to "twist".. how could they when they don't even know how to truly do the regular part. It's frustrating and just makes people feel that they aren't creative enough and then they will feel that they can't do it. So, I have to say that your advice to just do it and "twisting" will often happen naturally is amazing and truly helpful advice.

I do have one critique. Break up your paragraphs more. It is pretty hard to read and too easy to lose your place while reading when there are massive walls of text. I'm thinking maybe more people would read it all the way through if it was easier to read. Just a suggestion.

OK, done! I got my SC acct set up last night. I spent a while today trying to figure out how to UL to Usenet instead of torrents. I realized that I was procrastinating: you gave perfectly fine steps and I was getting in my own way.

I have some file collections with titillating names that I decided to use as my UL. Dusted off an old TPB account and uploaded a tor.

So... you mentioned ebay on the beginning of your thread (I don't know if you are on Ebay...) so, I have been trying to make some money there, and it's possible, since it's made slowly (because ebay is strict at this time), anyway, could you give any advice about it, or about something else? (not necessarily about ebay)
I was really losing my motivation after have some ebay account limited, but reading you thread made me see "a light at the end of the tunel"
