Challenge:

I will check how fast I can make $50 in one day from Adsense starting from scratch.
I will find a niche, then create a website, and do some SEO to get to #1.
My plan is to aim for huge traffic entertainment keyword, where visitors will stick.
Regular website. All white hat.
1 hour of work a day with updates. Mix of unique and copy content.

Rules:

I am giving myself 2 months to do so.
I will use only white hat techniques. No hidden exploits
No click jacking etc.


Facts:

I never was making $$$ from Adsense before. This will be my first Adsense site.
I have found keyword I will rank for it. High competition. 3 sites in top10 have keyword in domain. Keyword gets 10K exact searches a day in average.
Site will be in entertainment niche. There is thousands of sites like this.
Average user will come back, and generate 5-6 page views.
Very low bounce rate traffic.
I will create backlinks to it, and try to make it viral on Facebook (through likes and visitors to the site).


Reason:

I will post here all types of SEO services I will use. You will be able to closely follow me in road to completion this challenge. So if you don't know how to start, just follow this thread. Hopefully I will succeed


Plan:

Week 1:
Creating website, updating content, preparing it for SEO.

Week 2:
Starting SEO campaign. Aiming for main keyword only. No long tails.

Week 3:
Getting first visitors from Viral marketing and Facebook (approx 10 a day).

Week 4:
Showing up on top 5 pages in Google for main keyword. Constant 50 visitors a day. First clicks.

Week 5:
Showing up on top 2 pages in Google for main keyword. Constant 150 visitors a day. 2-3 clicks a day.

Week 6:
Showing up on top page in Google for main keyword. Small traffic from long tails. Constant 200 visitors a day. 3-4 clicks a day.

Week 7:

Top 5 spot in Google for main keyword. Traffic from long tails. Constant 1.000 visitors a day. 20-30 clicks a day.

Week 9:

Top3 spot in Google. Huge traffic of 5.000 visitors a day generating 25.000 page views a day. 300 clicks a day summing up on minimum $50.

But yes, entertainment pays low and AS hates returning visitors and traffic from social sources. Often they both trigger smart pricing. What AS loves is pure SE traffic; they see it as genuinely interested users.

Thanks for tip. I will go for lower cpc, as I am expecting huge traffic.
Why I am interested in traffic? As I can push some CPA too But thats different story.

I have started a similar journey last week. My goal is making $100 per day from 3 site with at least 1K pages. All whitehat and i will depend on search engine traffic.

Subbed. Good luck Don't forget to do a bit of reading on how to increase your CTR etc. Heck, even some of those crappy Joel Comm books back in the day helped me increase my CTR and overall earnings back in the day.

Been thinking of doing the same but content creation for entertainment niche is not easy (for me anyway). Obviously you can't just sumarize wiki for niche like that (like what I do for most of my site lol)

Would be good if you could outline a bit on how you are going to get the content, no detail, just pointers would suffice.

I use Google External and Traffic Travis. I found this keyword few weeks ago. I was just brainstorming some ideas, and here you go
I use some firefox addons too, but not any advanced SEO tools, as I prefer to do all manually.

I will buy some articles from article writer (maybe some 1000 words ones, just few to build content quickly). Then I will let my GF to create some extra unique articles/blog stuff.

I said I will be getting 5,000 visitors. I want to get 70% return rate on this.
If I will get 1K searches from Google a day I will be happy.

I will probably not use Wordpress, but other CMS.
I will get probably 500-1000 pages website. It is hard to say now, but I assume it will be really easy to create content.
I will update content once every 1-3 days. This will keep site fresh.

oh ok so 5k exact search a day is still 150k search term and your going to rank for it in 2 months if u do then props to you! IMO that's really hard.

Are you planning to register a new domain for this or buy an aged domain? And if you are registering a new one, do you think 2 month would be enough as Google does not rank new domains for the first 3 months at least?

This is because scam sites just come and go whereas legitimate sites sticks longer, so Google deliberately keeps new sites on a sandbox until they have some level of authority. What is your take on this "Sandbox for new domains" topic?

I will use brand new domain for it.
I had success with new domains before, and I was able to rank them on 1st page for hard keywords. As long as keyword is in domain name.
I will build only Sandbox safe links - no spam and crap.
If penalties, and sandbox for new websites exists, why we never seen Fiverr, Twitter or other newcomers getting in to the Sandbox? Its about quality and diversity of backlinks.

Thanks for the answers man. But I think , what you have said above is the greateast issue , in this picture . If you will outsource all of the 1000 pages as "UNIQUE" , it will cost you some good money ?? I am assuming this pages will be 1000 words articles as you said before..

Not all pages will be unique. I want to create like 20-30 uniqe pages, and rest will be feed from other sites.

My budget for this whole project will be in range of $500 (not including website). I think that this will be enough. I don't plan to get more than 30 unique articles ordered.
We will see how this is going while I will be adding pages. 15 pages a day should be enough.

Yeah. Many people are trying in micro niches. I want to hit big, and get huge visitors base.

Interesting.

I would however recommend to focus on long tail kw in week 2. That way will you have some free traffic from easy ranking kw within a week, while you work on your main kw, that is going to take longer time to rank.
