I tried this and I can't see how I can activate the number with a payphone. Have a friend go stand by it while you activate online? Some payphones don't even accept incoming calls. Any suggestions?

some payphones do not accept calls, this has been going on for a few years...I think they are trying to crack down on drug dealers using payphones...you just need to find phones that work or use something like AOL phone that costs a couple bucks a month

I also am doing the autoresponder idea....I got tired of having to hammer CL with the ads and the phone number written out or mudged somewhat, so I just created an autoresponder on an unused domain of mine.

Obviously, the autoresponder is "single opt-in" in that the person sending a CL reply is going to get the autoresponder message without having to confirm anything. My AR message for the personal ads has an image I swiped from someone's AdultFriendFinder ad and a simple message to call my Brring number and talk more. Works great!

To get around the pain of finding working pay phones, here's a solution:

Remember, you only to need a working phone number for about 5mins to verify the Brring info, then u never need it again. What better than a "disposable, temporary phone number?" LOL. Their plan at tossabledigits allows for unlimited phone numbers(the plan charges for mins used, not numbers) so go to town making a bunch and cancel all the numbers you've used after they are verified by Brring.

The one thing I didn't see on the site, is how do you get paid. Do they send a check? There were no payments options. Further they don't even state when you get paid.

Lastly some of my phone call rewards are pending? Why does this happen?

the auto posters for craigs list dont work. I have tred 1 or 2 craigs list is on top of things like that.

how about call forwarding to a prepaid phone? available from tossabledigits? I just know payphones are not an option and i want to recieve the verification call.

btw, do we have any other craigslist submit tools here?

I don't think this will last long but there are so many things that people will call about, you have to use your imagination.

This won't end, there are two many legit services running through it. If you don't believe me try calling 1-800-free-411 or equiv. These companies spam just for brand recognition and don't expect imm sales.

Not to be negative but I don't think it will last long if none of the calls convert. It's just like anything else ya know. Maybe if you post on cl something that is related to the ads they hear, it may convert.
