Default Throwing a thought around...

Hey all,

Just had a thought and I'd like to get some opinions...

I've created a couple of software programs in the past - I'm just wondering if implementing some sort of complete an offer to unlock the software thing would work...would it piss people off? What if it was every time it was run? Once a day? What would be too much? Just a random thought...whatcha guys think?

i think that would be too much if you ask everyday.

Maybe you can try to make them signup again if you have new updates for the software

'...I would be annoyed if I had to jump through hoops every time I wanted to use the software...unless I got it free and then that's a different matter and if that was the condition that the software was free then I'd accept it'.

Check out trialpay*com . I recently added it as an exit popup and uninstaller popup on my software and it has brought in money that I'd otherwise not make.. It works with CPA offers .. I've averaged 28$/person with it.. About 20% conversion rate too. I would only do it once though or maybe once a month.. Depends on the software and how often they use it.

tp is cool because you can even set the $ you want to make per person (and you will normally end up making at least that much per person)

Yeah, you're probably right about requiring it everyday or every run... I defintely would only do it with "free" software... I'll look into trialpay...sounds like it might be a solution...thanks...

I have had a thought on this "strategy" for a while. But what I want to do is have a membership site where the members just fill out an offer ( that pays well like insurance or mortgage offers) to join, and then I email them an offer every month for them to continue on the membership thus - i get paid and they don't pay anything but get what they want. -it's a win-win! Either that or every month the site has another entrance portal of some sort for the current people to fill out an offer to continue their membership.. (maybe every 2 month.. I dunno) however I have NO clue about codes and technology beyond html and basic stuff so I don't know if the concept is possible. I have seen the software sites where they want you to pick an offer to buy it instead of paying for it, but not where its a monthly or per use thing. If you can do something like the above written I think it would be awesome and I would be the first in line for the script! - of course I'd have to pay you with a cpa offer.

Anyway, just a little thought thrown back at you, hope it helps.

Yeah, I've thought about something along those lines as well...I was thinking about an incentivized PLR site...wouldn't work for all of us here, but there are a ton of PLR membership sites that people pay for, so it would almost have to work...could almost set it up so that as soon as they completed the offer the PLR package for that month (or week even) is sent to them...

Ideas, ideas...

Depends on how good the software is.

I'd do a CPA offer once every 15 minutes for some software. Others I'd just uninstall and move on.

Also depends on how well you "sell" the need for the offer fill.

"to keep this free, go here and fill in this offer" is a so-so reason because most people don't give a shit; they just want what they want.

"To receive a handjob from Angelina Jolie, go here and fill in this offer" would be much more interesting (if you could deliver of course )

Actually, I just got an idea.....
