How much would you say a music website that gets currently about 12,000 unique visitors per month and makes $150-200 with PPI (pay per install) per month is worth?

It's a PR 4, Alexa Ranking of 567,422, 3 years old, over 63,000 backlinks.

Ranks first page for 2 very competitive keywords.

Top Hip Hop Songs
Hip Hop Songs

Ranks second page for 2 very competitive keyword.

Hip Hop Music
Hip Hop Music Videos

The potentials of this website are $2,000-$5,000 per month.

I never got approved for adsense, so I have to use PPI, but with adsense you could make $.40-$.70 per click.

With a little bit of work (not hard at all) you could make it first page top 5 positions for ALL 4 of the keywords, and receive over 300,000 unique visitors per month as well as $2k-$5k per month.

Hey there Bobbylove, typically you can expect approx 10 months revenue, so $1500 to $2000.

I've paid $2000 for a blog making nothing, with a PR3 600 visitors a day, and about 20,000 backlinks.

without real stats , screenshots, content knowledge, and a teamview of the earning page. i would say the price of the domain name. $9.00.

What do backlinks look like ?
How old is thsi site ?

IamNomad,

Domain Age: 1 Year, 11 Months, 6 Days

Everything (earnings, visitors, etc.) is verifiable.

The backlinks are legit backlinks: 63,000+

I'm thinking of listing the website for sale on Flippa for $4,000 - $10,000

That seems a little high. Yes, it is worth MUCH more than the domain register, but I would say $1k - $2k.

Try the higher end and re-list for $1,500 or so if that doesn't work, has a higher chance to sell at that.

Typical site is going for 2.5 times previous years net sales. Seems as though you don't have a years worth of sales (ads risk to the buyer, and brings price down), it would be the projected net income times twelve. So say $150 X 12 = $1,800 X 2.5 = $4,500. And remember, just because you say it can easily make $1,500 TO $5,000 means nothing. It is what the site is doing now that matters.

You should be able to get $3K to $4K for it. But don't be surprised if you don't get offers for that amount.

breakalltheclocks,

I have this urge to start a News Website, which will literally take 5 hours per day of work, so that's why I'm looking to sell my website asap.

The site does have a lot of potential, and its not me just saying that. The rankings are self-explanatory, but your right. I should just simply wait a bit longer until the income is $2k-$5k per month, then sell it for $50k+

I might have a domain you'd be interested in, it's over 6 yrs old
i've been sitting on it thinking about doing something with it forever!

backlinks in ask are 46,000,000 (dont ask) LOL

Go make a blogger blog. Make 3 posts and apply for adsense a second time. I didn't get accepted my first time either, but after that I got accepted right away. Don't you dare sell it until you've maximized potential income! If you're making 2-5k a month, that's pretty good! I would consider just keeping it for your own use!

try indiarocks.com for adsense. i have tried all methods out there. got rejected 3 or 4 times before i got accpeted. if i were u, put effort to bring the potential out of it and sell it for big.. :)

12 months is reasonable but i would have to say that the web site profile from what you have said, seems really good.I cannot afford to lose such a site even if it means i got to give 20x revenue.
