Google Affiliate Network????

Seems I had an affiliate account with some company called "Doubleclick Perfomics"... also seems that Google ended up taking them over and now there is an official Google affiliate network... or maybe there was one before and Google is trying to expand it by acquiring "Doubleclick Performics" (similar to how they acquired Youtube)... Either way.. only way I found out was I got a denial letter from Google today when they reviewed my Doubleclick account during it's transfer to Google.

Anyways, is this new? If so, I'd imagine this is pretty big....

how long does it take them to approve of your application? I signed up with them a couple days ago and still haven't heard back from them

Are you looking to get approved for an adsense account?

If so, quickest and easiest way is to setup a free blog at blogspot.
There is an option for adsense. Just put something silly like some youtube music videos in the blog and you should get approved in a day or so.
