I don't know about a ban...I just think he should be publicly "flogged". Seems more and more of these..."hey I'm no guru but I gotta secret that'll make you rich" nutjobs pop up then disappear...and more recently on BHW. I just think before he got to promote it he must share ALL 30 lessons with Admin.
I think that's because most real gurus don't have time to actively post on forums. The ones I know make time to talk at cons like affiliate summit,

Thanks ... I can think of a few more severe things he deserves. Seems like many who've posted here know enough about making money online that much of the material already delivered is useful ... but it isn't to me. I'm out $100.00; that's $135.00 before taxes; that's 10 hours of hard work for me. F**k him. Unless he's been in the hospital or in jail, no excuses. He stole from me, plain and simple.

sorry to hear that sw40... Challenge it on PP or credit card.

Gee it'd be a shame if someone complained to all those web 2.0 sites where he has a page that he's a spammer...I hear they ban first then ask questions later...simply do a search on taoisttraining, taoisttemple, taoistmeditation, OR taoistqigong

hmmmm

Oh well... he seems to have abandoned the project from what I see here.
Still posting on his other website, still logging in here, however ignoring the users. If it was a case that he was unable to continue, it would be understandable in some way.
But from what it looks like, he seems UNWILLING to continue.

I do feel bad for the people who bought his "course", "system" or whatever he was selling, and didnt receive it in full as promised.
If he didnt want to continue it for whatever reason, it is his duty to inform the people involved, and issue a refund for the portion that was not delivered.

When such things happen (guy promises some super materials, then disapears), it makes it harder for people who would genuinly have a similar product to offer, some training, coaching, course or anything. They would get met with instant suspicion and mistrust.

And say you signed up for some "Super Top Secret Ninja Fighting Techniques Course" and paid for 3 months of lessons. Then suddenly the teacher decides to close the dojo for whatever reason, and there is no course anymore. As you have paid for the full course, and not received what you paid for, he has to refund for the portion he did not deliver, or potentially face lawsuits.

Since from what I see here, he is ignoring his members, which is clearly disapointing and disrespectful, it seems like he doesnt care anymore about whatever he was offering.

In that case, why not send him one final message to come up with the rest of the stuff he offered, or refund for what is missing. If not, then why not share the contents here, or in Jr. Vip or something, depending on how "good" it really is. Yeah some will say that its mean, but by his actions, he showed that he really doesnt give a shit about it anymore.

Some one needs to email him and say...

If you want that website and your others to stay up...

You nned to finish you lessons like was agreed or...

we are really going to F*** it up beyond repair!
I would be against vandalizing his websites, especially the one not related to IM. It can get you in shit, and wont do much to rectify the issue. I say give him a final deadline to respond, if not publically share, and discuss what he was selling.

He's probably just enjoying the hospitality of the Chinese government. I hear they are quite pleasant with fat, chain smoking Americans who want to be Ninjas and embrace capitalism publicly over the internet.
lol... But even so, since he still updates his other site and posts there, he has the ability to communicate. As to why he wont do it with his members that actually PAID for what he was offering... no one knows yet.

Hmm... I have encountered the same message on several occasions.

It seems to happen when the browser takes longer than usual to get to a link in BHW.

Other times, the BHW forum source code (HTML) appears immediately after I login.

Deja's powers can span the Pacific and get to me, it seem.....

I'm sorry to hear so many of you didn't fully get what you paid for. Unfortunately, being scammed is an unavoidable side effect of doing business on the Internet. It happens to us all at one point or another. I'm hoping he's just being held up somewhere without Internet access and plans to return with the remaining lessons later.

On a lighter note, I did receive an email from Dejacrew on July 12th. He wanted me to share with you a video of him showing off his Monk induction and some of his new moves: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Z256IZvGlE
I don't mind about 20-30 days, because I already got what I paid for.

Got what you paid for?

I'm glad you feel that way, and to know people are happy and that they got what they paid for... I didn't... I specifically paid for this:

Quote:
During the next 4 weeks you're going to learn the ins and outs of building a highly successful business online. We're going to do it together, and we're only going to build the business that brings you closer to the life that you really want to have. I'm not going to tell you to sell products you don't believe in, do things that you would find unethical, or work to create something that won't ultimately fulfill you financially, and as a human being.
Go back and read the sales letter at http://iamjonathan.com/coaching/

I did not receive that... I may be happy with the materials I was provided, I may be happy with the work I have put into this (by piecing together poorly sent emails that made following the course like deciphering the dead sea scrolls)...

...but I am not happy with being under delivered and ripped off by someone who talks sooooo highly of over delivering and walking the high road.

It is that hypocrisy that kills me, and should not be rewarded. He criticizes "e-whoring" and win / lose marketing in his ebook, and then this bit of ignoring paying customers?

And when he goes on and on about giving people what they want and then says that you are going to hype up your customer's soooo much they are going to be dying to drink the "purple kool-aid"... Did I pay $199 for a glass of Jonathan's purple kool-aid??? It feels like it.

The issue is not one of did he send us some cool stuff.. he did... the issue is whether he:

1. Lied about his intentions outright, never planned to deliver and ripped us off. So he is a crook...

2. Just does not have what it takes to be the IM semi-guru he claims to be and wasn't capable of putting a course together at all because he doesn't have the skills, knowledge or whatever. So he is a Failure...

3. He just does not have the decency or self-respect to make good on his deal. He had some troubles (who doesn't) can't get to a computer to finish the lessons or something... But just doesn't care about the people who sent him money and won't sen out 1 email to make it understood... So he is a socially retarded, irresponsible jerk...

Any of these options make him a dick whether he is a "good guy" or not...

If we were talking about Yanick Silver or Brad Callen, there would be no mercy for the IM Guru who ripped folks off... why is Jonathan to be held to a different standard? Cause he wrote some cool posts? That's part of his course folks! Go to a orum, wow folks with free info and hack together a product to sell them... he just did to this forum what he advocates in his course... we were niche marketed

Here is my letter to paypal submitting a dispute and asking for a full refund:

Quote:
Please return my payment on this item as I am not satisfied with this product.

Jonathan Semenick Offered a 30 day e-coaching class on Internet Marketing, here is a link to the site, http://iamjonathan.com/coaching/

He has not delivered on this course, failing to send all the lessons promised, refusing to answer emails from his students, and not offering or making available any of the "private coaching area" e-coaching interaction he outlined in the sales letter. I am not alone, after communicating with many other students of this course, not one has received the full course.

I have received only 19 of the promised 30 lessons and from his failure to answer emails from myself or others in the course, I do not expect to receive the rest. Also because of his using a faulty and poorly set up email autoresponder, the lessons that have been received are incomplete and out of order, making them difficult to follow effectively.

I would also like to point out the 19 lessons are not complete and are unusable as is without knowing the unavailable material.

As you can see on his website he offers a 31 day guarantee, I have more than adequately put the hours required for my part in the lessons I have received:

(quote from site)
"My Personal Guarantee To You 100% Money Back Guarantee
If you give me 30 days, and a PROMISE to follow the steps I give you, and do a BARE MINIMUM of 2 hours of work per day, I guarantee that you will be profitable and HIGHLY satisfied at day 31. If you're not, or if you feel like you have't gotten your full value from my coaching program, I'll gladly refund every penny of your membership price."
I want my money ($199.00) back, and wish to take him up on the money back guarantee.

I also wish that he would refund the money owed to all the other members of this course, who also have not received their promised materials, or at least make the remaining lessons available to them.

Thank you for your time and efforts in this matter.
I think others should do the same... You hit a man in his wallet to make him listen.

Jonathan, I know you read all this... You have all your readers set up to search your name and products on the forums... Read my signature... Why don't you just come clean and explain yourself?

I vote ban him if he does not deliver or explain why he hasn't...

Ciao,

Crow

It really is a shame. I'm a new member, but from what I have read on the forum, DejaCrew was quite a spark in this forum. Perhaps if he haven't started this mentoring thing at all, his reputation wouldn't have tarnished, and we'd remember him for being an insightful member.

This is a very good reflection of real life. Only those that persevere to the end of their goal, will see success.

If Deja was distracted during that period with being a kungfu monkey, he shouldn't have started the project. Or if he wants to give it up, should give a 50% or full refund to his partners, as he obviously doesn't need the money from the mentorship anyhow.

Urban
