PayPal is the safest way to go why are you complaining. I am a very sucessfull internet marketer , I make 2.5 grand a month just with zango using white hat methods , then I do this on the side.

Be careful when you are selling replica items on the internet. Big companies have hard working staffs to find wheather you sell replica or not. Their employees come to your site, buy your items as an ordinary customer. They record every steps with a video recorder. When they recieve the product that they bought....BOOMM!! You wouldn't be in that situation. Trust me. I was trying to sell replica online. Luckly I got caught before I sell any. After long time emailing process, I convinced them that I did not sell any items. Here is the email of one of the big trade mark that I received. Read it and think about selling replica items twice.

By the way, a "very" successful internet marketer doesn't make 2 or 3 grand a month. They make more like 50 grand a month.

Wow you guys sure like to cut on replicas. Remember there is a fine line to buying and selling replicas. Its not all illegal but the line is thin. If you are going to sell "real" replicas be blackhat about it. Don't use your real name and don't be able to be tracked. Com'on guys I read all day how you cookie stuff proxy hide ip address blah blah and then you say " hey feds here i am send the check for the purse or ipod to my real address". Be smarter, there happen to be sites other than ebay to sell products. And don't abuse the term replica. It means a similar product.
I sell replicas and drop ship and do pretty good. I live in NYC and can get anything replica and drop ship "mail" for you. The ipods dont say ipod they say made in china. Although i can get you similar "legal" coach look-a-like purses they differ from the knockoff almost identical coach purse i get out of the back of a van. They sell more and i am upfront about them being fake. Women have no problem buying the "real fake" purses. But i also don't do it on ebay like a noob. So sell replicas all day and no you won't get busted because it's legal if it has no "TM" logo on it. Beware selling ones that do but get-in-get out if you do.

so if you sell replicas on ebay how do you list them for the title since you can use the brand name that the replica is of and you can't use terms "like Coach" etc. How do you get people to your auction?

It's iffy when doing ebay. I say replica such such. Sometimes i don't say replica till the description. Some people cant afford the real thing and want replicas. Some things are fake polo shirts i get dirt cheap. Think outside the box. I sell mp3-4 "ipod" players that are just like ipods at the flea market. I get them for 50 bucks sell them for 75 or 80. I sell at least 10 every saturday at my aunts booth. I have an article from a tech magazine I put next to them that rates them compared to the ipod and it gives rave reviews. Seriously ebay is a headache with this stuff.

I guess eBay is tough for replicas but you could sell them on iOffer or some of the other smaller auction sites.

Thats the fine line. If it looks like it but does not say it and has a little button different or swirl on the "G" or a donkey with a polo player instead of a horse, that's OK. When it does have that logo, make sure it cant be traced back to you or eventually you will at least pay taxes and full price for merchandise. A good example is the food in the store that is not name brand. Same ingredients different box. Its a replica of chef boy ardee but its chief boy armadillo.

Selling "replicas" isn't illegal. Ebay may have certain policies on the terminology that you use but you can setup and promote your own "replica" site. (there are many) Selling (trafficking) counterfeit goods on the other _is_ illegal. The difference being on replica ipods there is nothing that says ipod on it (though it may have the same features and menus) and counterfeits which come in an authentic ipod box with all the packaging.

That being said I have known people who have made high returns on shlepping counterfeit shoes/other merchandise to mom and pop shops around my area and flea markets. (Basically making 100%+ returns on however much money they can flip at a time) These are some unsavory characters in that industry though and its basically a step below dealing drugs. Plus, you have to buy-load-deliver this product all over the damn place and haggle... too much work for people with half a brain.

A good trick is to develop a relationship with a clothing/shoe manufacturer in China... and basically copy a style of shoe/clothing that is mega-popular (I find the urban community to be a great source for this type of merchandise,) maybe switch up a couple things, slap on some different colors, and build your own brand. We are marketers after all.

I'm looking into getting the hookup on a reputable replica wholesaler so if anyone has the line on that or marketing those kinds of products pm me. But it seems no one is hitting the market in my area as hard as they used to (with counterfeits) due to major seizures and crackdowns. I'm pretty sure there would be a healthy profit to be made going either way.

I agree with a few others on this thread about this guy being so full of crap. He cant even provide worthwhile info on his wholesaler.

This whole 'use Paypal & your safe' is rubbish. I have had a few claims in Paypal won in my favor and guess what they said.. We have found in your favor but unfortunately we can not get any money from the merchants account blah blah..

If you want to find good sellers of cheap stuff simply visit DHGATE.COM every market stall holder in China flogs his wares there and you can use an escrow service..

As for replicas.. I recommend staying away from it as there is nothing worse than eBay or the customer complaining about my product is a fake..

eBay also was sued for 65 million last month by Louis Vuitton for allowing fake handbags to be sold online so they are coming down pretty hard on it..

I do about 10K / mth on eBay and have been doing it since 2004.. and I tell you one thing mafiaboy is talking out of his ass!

Find cheap in demand products and resell at cost and make around $5 on the shipping fee + use the cookie stuffer to reclaim 50%of your eBay fees.
