Default OMG I hit a goldmine!

omg i cant believe it still. I was just doing some micro niche research and i just hit the ultimate niche! I found 23 sub-keywords all with 800-3,000 searches that have extremely low competition!

I am gonna do some major work on this niche definitely. I need some advice for my main keyword. I have a choice for .org or .net which one will work best.

Actually im gonna try turn this into a authority site for this niche its perfect. any advice is appreciated need it asap!

.net is considered by several called gurus a better choice. However, some claim that both can rank the same. The way you will address this niche should help you decide which one makes better sense.

If your keywords really have very low competition, it doesn't matter what you choose. In this case you'll get good rankings either way.

Just checking - are you using "exact" mode to measure the search volume? I assume you are using Google Adwords Keyword Tool.

You never know how any niche will work out, no matter how good the numbers look. It's good to be enthusiastic but don't pin all your hopes on just 1 thing. There may be a whole host of blocking factors that you haven't thought of - the most obvious one I can think of is that people search for your keywords in their thousands, but very rarely actually spend any money.

Have a look here to get more information on the niche value:

Good luck, but remember - always have a backup plan.

Yeah, one night I was doing some research and got all excited over this gold mine I thought I found, like 80K searches with like 3 competition. Then in the morning it was 80K ish competing pages. Very weird.. I had it all saved in a notepad so I know I wasn't crazy..
    .... interesting
