Okay so I am bored and figured I would share some methods that having nothing to do with marketing. If you can't do this, honestly , just quit.

These methods take some investment money, how much depends on your budget.


The first method is just flipping items on craigslist. I always turn to this when I need quick money.

What you do is buy items(popular items do well-ipods/zunes,xbox360,ps3,gps,technology in general) for cheap. I usually just invest in ipods and zunes because they go fast. There are all kinds of crackheads selling em for dirt cheap. I usually pay 20-30$ a pop and flip them for 100-120$ a pop. I try to make at least 100$ profit off of them. With ipods I get emails and calls almost immediately.

Now is the tax season so this is the time where you need to get on your hustle and bang em out.




My second method is for memorial day and about 2 weeks before and until 4th of july. Different cities have fireworks on different days until then and sometimes even after.

What you do is buy glow sticks in bulk for dirt cheap and then go to these events and sell them. You should generally bust them out and crack em about a half hour to 45 minutes before the fireworks start(you will get super busy). I buy cases with 12 tubes and 50 in each tube. at one event I sell about 4-6 tubes myself.

To maximize your profits bring a friend or two and throw em some cash for helping.

You can make of 1k easily. Then you just repeat at the different fireworks. Seriously, once you crack them glow sticks, kids come running like you are the ice cream truck.

You do need a vendors license to do this but I have never been busted by the cops. I got questioned once and was told to leave.

A good way to get rid of em quicker is to do deals. 3 dollars or two for 5. Even if you see low income families, cut em a better deal =) , either way you profit and you made their night.






Both of these methods are on point.

Well I buy stuff off the streets from well, crackheads. Heh. I also put up craigslist ads stating I will buy them in bulk and I spend maybe 20-40 on them a piece but I am pretty sure the shit is stolen but then again it's not my problem and they can't be traced.

Lol, like I said, do it at your own risk. But,

If a crackhead is selling you something, they are harmless. If they weren't, they would be trying to rob you.

The only problem I had is that, they just get real annoying, in other words, they are always trying to sell me dumb shit constantly so you gotta lay down the law and tell em to come back when they have some ipods... or some flat-screen tvs.

Always test the stuff to make sure it works and make sure it comes with the chords and stuff of course(no brainer).

Go to the hood, It's like crackheads gone wild. And if you aren't the type to deal with confrontation well if you do happen to run into a problem, carry some mase.

The world is one big hustle. The money is there, you just gotta go get it.

If you don't want to deal with crackys, find people that sell em bulk for cheap on craigslist.

I also appreciate the remark in your first post about selling glow sticks cheaper to low-income families. Like you said, you make a profit and you make their night.

Sometimes I find myself whining or bitching about something like, oh, I don't know, a farktard in another thread posting a nasty little link that horked one of my workstations. Then I think about the fact that I'm fortunate enough to have multiple workstations when there are people selling their stuff (or their bodies in some cases) just to get by.

i use to buy shit from crackheads all the time 2 years ago. Shit they use to come to me with some stupid ass shit. 1 dude would come to me on a daily basis with laptops,car stereos,house stereos ipods you name it. He even came from a church right after robbing the damn place with 3 computers and sold them to me for 60 for all 3. if you can handle them you can make mad bank off them trust me. i even had one guy try to sell me his van for 500$

Haha dude when I was staying in this rough neighborhood, there was a crackhead apartment complex next to where I lived. Once I started buying things from them they would come at all hours of the day and night.

Knocking on my window at 4 / 5 in the morning "psst.. HEY!..HEYYY! YOU UP MAN?!HEYY!!!"

Me: "The f*** is wrong with you man, you know what time it is? You ever heard of a door?"

Crackhead "Hey man listen man I got 200$ in groceries for you man, 20$ and you can have it man."

Me: "You know what time it is? Come back tomorrow in the day with some electronics and we'll talk."

If people are selling stuff on Craigslist they're almost always desperate for money.

Chances are you can talk them down a few bucks. I've been able to do it with just about every CL transaction I've made.

Yeah you can talk em down a nice chunk 90%-98% of the time.

You can tell by how antsy they are to get rid of what they have and if they can wait a day or 2 or if they need to sell you it right then and there.

It's all about workin em.

Just curious but where do you buy glow sticks in bulk? Do you get discounts, or do you turn profits with without discounts?

Crackheads got the deals but man I hate being in their territory.

I guess all of us have to go work at mcdonalds ( maybe not for the 2nd merthod)..

Not sure where you live , but you WILL NEVER find ipods for 20-30$ here in Montreal which is a rather big city. You must have a hell lot of crackheads wherever you live

This is some b.s. you can't find ipods for $20 - $30 unless 1. they are stolen 2. they are fake. If they are fake people will complain and want their money back. if they are stolen your selling stolen property and can do jail time for that. Not blackhat , fraud!

I once had a crackhead sell me a xbox with 3 controlers and 4 games for $30 i turned around and flipped it that same day. If you go out and hussle you can make money. The money is there but its only there for those who take the initiative to go get it. They say good things come to those who wait but they only get whats left over from those who take. If you don't agree with the method of buying items off the streets, buying glow sticks in bulk is legit.

And I have never received a ticket or "landed my ass in jail" and I've been on that tip for a few years now.

Most things sold on craigslist aren't legit. I say ipods because nothing can be traced back to you as opposed to an xbox but even so it's still hard to trace via craiglist.

I respectfully disagree. And craigygee is far from retarded.

Method #1 is a mobile version of a pawn shop in a way. KNOWINGLY buying hot merchandise is illegal. KNOWINGLY selling hot merchandise is illegal. But the buyer is under no obligation legally to inquire where the seller got their merch or why they are selling it. It's called "hold harmless" in the States and is one of the niceties of an overall crap legal system.

I knew my years working in a second-hand record shop would come in handy some day. We have to use this one junkie, kinda sad actually - I'm guessing heroin rather than crack - he would come up in whenever he needed a fix and sell parts of his music collection dirt cheap. Once he even tried to sell the shoes he was wearing. They were pretty nasty looking though.

If you're not comfortable with it, don't use it. Stick to selling glow stix. I know where me and the family will be in early July this year.

Isn't crack the type of cocaine that can be melted, vaporized and inhaled? I think it's pretty addictive also.

Yeah crack is cooked with baking soda which turns it into hard form. But it isn't physically addictive. But still very very mentally addictive.
