I thought of another method for you pushing CPA offers of the background check.

In economical difficulties, many can't rent so they are looking for places that won't pull their credit or ask a lot of questions.

So this method would be using the background check, and what you are doing is offering to sublet with just a background check.

You can post a sob story about how your roommate bailed and left you with the rent and you need to find someone ASAP to fill the space. In order for them to "pass" You are needing to see a background check which they need to bring with them when meeting with you along with the money.

I am sure this has been done before but I had some success with it last night as I got the idea from sitting at the bar listening to a patron complain.
