Default Trends Site Building - Fail :(

Hey everyone, been reading some tips here and building a site with Google Trends and so forth, I'll be open to the sites that I've built to see if there's any tips out there to what I'm doing wrong.

So I went last night and got 2 trends to build sites from: carrie prejean sextape video and shay biggest loser

For Carrie's site I built - carrieprejeansextapevideo.blogspot.com
Shay's site - shaybiggestloser.blogspot.com and shaybiggestloser.info promoting fatloss 4 idiots

On all 3 of these sites I've done the following in order:
  1. Created website and put some content
  2. Pingomatic
  3. reddit & digg, then used pingomatic on what I created with R&D
  4. Jumptag (i don't think I did it right, not showing up)
  5. Propeller
  6. Onlywire (paid account)
  7. Quick backlinks (app by a member) which pings a ton of sites
  8. Scrapebox (blog commenting, about 1000 - 1500 for each, and then ping)
  9. Squidoo account (only shaybiggestloser.info)
  10. Craigslist Posting with link
  11. Yahoo Answer (my account cant post URL yet in resource box, so I guess this is void)
  12. Blog commenting on first 20 URL's for each keyword

I haven't posted links in YouTube or done any profile building... all 3 sites with everything took me about 6 hours to do last night - 1st time.

Is there anythnig I'm missing, I think I did a good job at marketing this pretty hard. I got some traffic (sub 100 for each site) and some clicks through Clickbank for the products I"m promoting. The one that had the most hops were carrie's blogspot but 0 conversions yet (0:80)... shay's got some hops but nothing yet either

I guess the main thing for traffic is that the sites are not indexed yet... this is my first time taking ACTION and I know it'll get better within time

Thanks guys!

From what I've read around the boards, it looks like indexing takes a bit longer, these days.

I also have heard from the experience of others that .info domains are harder to rank as well as index. Sometimes indexing takes an hour sometimes it can take a week.

I'm sure someone with much more experience can chime in but I think you may want to take it a little slower on the link building so you don't raise the G's hackles for spam links.

What I'm doing, is that pretty much the way to go for quick trend sites as well as whitehat long-term ones?

.com domains index faster than info ones, or is that just fluff?

I've had .info sites indexed as fast as .com sites.

I would say it's a myth.

Also, just a reminder, all TLD's are supposed to equal in the search engines eyes for rankings.

FYI: I bet if you build a linkwheel for each money site you would get indexed faster and rank higher.

There is a good and free ebook about how to do build a linkwheel. Let me know if you need the URL I can look it up for you.

I have actually found this post useful:
Code:
http://www.problogger.net/archives/2009/09/21/5-ways-to-get-your-blog-indexed-by-google-in-24-hours/
Also blog commenting. Not a ton of it, but a few comments can get some link juice flowing your way and lead the robots to index you.

trends building , normally use proxy (digg/yahoo answer/etc) to drive traffic, since momentum of trend could stay for few days only, it is hard if you want google to index and be at first page for new website

if you kind of guys create lof mini web site , the best to index website faster, get your blog web2.0 ready say 20-30 blogs, if any new site to be launched, create single post and spin and put link point to new website as well as ping ,

ka boom ...your new website should be indexed in next 6 hour to 2 day..., depend how strong pr of your web2.0 blog

Thank you should be great...

I think you're using the wrong monetization method for the prejean sextape, but thanks for the ideas.

How about an update?

You should be indexed by now.

Take a MSWord copy of one of you stories, and make 1 or 2 links back to the blog in it, then submit it to Scribd. This usually gets me indexed in 24hrs. Oh and I use primarily .info.

1. Get One blog that has been indexed
2. Find a way to post content about what you trying to get indexed for.
3.Link your ppost to your new site.... ofcourse ping.... submit link using multisubmitter_onlywire.
4. Get a twitter account... many for sale on this forum.... using ur wp blog post your page to twitter..... finito

P>S this can be automated.... from posting to new blog and old blog to twitter to onlywire...... autoblogging or shuld i say semi autobloging is the answer...
