Been working on a way to get local shops/ restaurants/ takeaways/ days out places to give away vouchers/ meals/ tickets etc in exchange for being promoted in a local (100000 population) monthly email newsletter that people want to read, to see if they have won a prize.

The businesses would also have opportunity to give discount vouchers etc in addition to prizes so there is ongoing incentive to use their business.

I think I could build a good list over time as there is no cost to the punters and they stay in the ongoing prize draws (no need to keep entering) and expect to be able to get enough free prizes, plus add some JVs to promote it etc.

Any advice from anyone doing this type of whitehat activity?

Any suggestions of how to monitise the activity? Could promote affiliate products etc in the newsletter.

make it an elementary school fund raiser where the school makes the kids sell them for $20 each. you get $5 and the cash strapped schools get $15 for running it

i remember in elementary schools doing stuff like this with magazines, coupons, and candy. these days especially i think schools are open to free money
