Default $7000 Net Off eBay Last Month, Heres How...

Ok I've gotten a ton of requests for this tutorial... however I must say this is going to be pretty short. This has already been said in an ebook on here, but I did it and it worked ha.

I'm a little tipsy right now, just got home off a party bus. My gf is in my ear tellin me to get off this thing and I'm close to leavin.

    With that said...

I took something out of the 90k flipper thing a majig, ran with it, and made some money. I've already made more money this month as I expanded but that is neither here nor there. <--- Haha, I've always wanted to say that.

Ok, so I've been selling replica iPod Nano's for the last month and made decent money. Just over 7k net to be exact. No problems with eBay or anything eelse.

In fact, as long as you say it's a replica in your auction and in the title eBay really doesn't give a shit (they only really care if someone complains, at least in my experience). The only snag is if you get a customer that doesn't read shit and bitches because you sold them a replica. THis is a bit of a problem on eBay, but if you protect yourself in the description and title it shouldn't be a real big deal.

I've been purchasing these "iPods" off of Alibaba.com, now I know this will scare some of you because Alibaba is synonymous with scammer. However I assure you there are legit sellers on there, but it takes some questioning.

I think it was Yowza (probably fucked that up) or another member that said he had a brother in china that was finding all his connections and they were on alibaba. THERE ARE LEGIT SELLERS THERE!

A gold supplier is a start...

However I spend about three days questioning the individual seller looking for discrepancies and differences in his/her responses. I'll usually ask for some references of previous business, they will usually give up some if they are legit. I'll contact them askin the same type of questions and look for differences in their responses.

(Any "iPod" you get from alibaba is fake for the most part, however that doesn't mean you can't sell em for a big gain)

I'll then ask for a sample, most of the time is one or two units of the product. Most legit sellers will be willing to do the initial sample order, just say you are looking to do high volume every month. However most of the time if you do a sample they will say you have to pay close to retail. Whatever I don't really care because if it's legit, it's still less than a real iPod and I can usually sell that same one for a little profit.

Going after branded electronics on eBay is a waste of your time. Have you ever typed in "Apple iPod 30GB" into the search on eBay? Did you see how many pages of results you got? Sure you can make a couple bucks selling iPods but the real money is unbranded electronics.

Dehumidifiers, dvd players, dvd projectors, "ipod" replicas, this is where the money is at. I've made money with all these products in the past. Most people on eBay are looking for a deal. They are cheap! A ton of them can't afford the name brand electronics, this is where you come in.

There will always be a market for this stuff. As long as you test out the product yourself and make sure it's legit you won't have any problems. Just make sure to explicitly state that it is a replica. Most people have no problem purchasing a replica as long as it works like the real deal.

As far as payment for these items...

NEVER PAY VIA WESTERN UNION, WIRE TRANSFER, or BANK TRANSFER.

If you’re going to do business with people overseas, pay on your terms. You should use either Paypal.com, Escrow.com, COD, letter of credit, or credit card (cc is usually my last choice).

Here is the reasoning behind them all…

Paypal.com – if you do end up getting scammed, you can file a dispute and get a charge back as long as a credit card is linked to your account and not a debit card. Plus when you’re about to send someone money via Paypal you can see whether or not they are a verified user right before you send the money (I usually stick with verified users if I'm using paypal).

Escrow.com – I stress Escrow.com and not any other escrow service because there are a lot of escrows run by scammers that work with other scammers! Escrow works like an intermediary; they hold the payment until you confirm you’ve received the goods and tell them to release the payment. Escrow.com is very legitimate and I’ve used them tons of times, but I won’t trust any other escrow service.

COD – Cash on delivery is a great way of paying, however it is becoming more and more rare these days. However I have found wholesalers in the past that are willing to use this method.

Letter of Credit – This is basically like an escrow system through your bank. Your bank will freeze the funds in your account and contact the sellers bank letting them know that you are waiting for the goods. Once the goods are received, your bank will then release the funds to the sellers’ bank.

Credit Card – This would usually be my last resort. I would have to be pretty sure about my transaction to use a credit card. However in the worst case scenario with a credit card you can do a charge back and then simply cancel that credit card. Normally credit card companies are fairly understanding if you contact them about getting scammed.

I know there is a ton of people saying, NAH you can't sell replicas on eBay or Alibaba is just all scammers. Well you know what, someone is making it work! If you aren't, someone is.

Do your due diligence with the seller and use common sense. If they are asking for Western Union or an outside escrow service then you're probably getting ripped off.

Listen, I know this was probably a bit vague n what not but I'll try to improve upon it tomorrow (actually later today) when I'm in a better state of mind.

If you have questions, just drop em here and I'll try n help you later.

    Good post smitty,

Although I don't waste my time with Alibaba you mentioned a lot of good points.

    - I have direct with manufactures in China for many electronics ... things like bluetooth devices, memoryy cards etc ... anything that is small an lightweight is great.

Plus you can't go wrong with these items ... cause there is always a need. Not too mention ALLLLLLL of the ipod and iphone accessories. Believe it!

The payments are right on ... if you can ..use Escrow .. if people don't want to - they are being shady. Every overseas vendor on Alibaba want's wire transfers. Bullshit.

This guy wanted me to wire $4k for a Brand New Yahama YZF-R6...... Not a chance.

    ********************************

The biggest sales right now too are all the Iphone knock-offs. You want to see a good deal .... look on ebay. For every Iphone knock-off auction that you see shipping from Honk Kong - KNOW THIS.....

Here's the catch - they list the auction with 100 pcs. available - they do not OWN ANY!!!

The manufacture will only sell wholesale in bulk - smallest quantity being around 100 pcs.
    These guys list the auction at $200 - when a legit iphone is $399 (8gb) - $599 (16gb)

anyway ... since these sell fast - they bank on the demand. They do not ship 1 unit until they have sold enough to get the wholesale price for 100 units.

The wholesale price from the manufacture is around $89/ per unit.

Quick way to make $10k .

My friend bought ... and was waiting ...and waiting .... and waiting.

after two weeks after he paid - he gave the seller an ultimatum, REFUND ME IMMEDIATELY OR ELSE... (the short version). The guy refunded him immediately without even replying to the email.

Within the next week the guy emailed him back and told him he now had them in stock. That's when we figured out exactly what they were doing.

Anyway, use the info as you will.

I was banned from EBy someone complained I sold them replica Chloe Paddngton bag. I have also looked for Iphones but you cannot get them from Alibaba China etc. I have had access to enormous range of replicas watches handbags tshirts (Diesel etc) but I am not a good seller and do not know exactly how to set up fake Eby with Ppal (how to get the money)Also have access to unbranded goods cameras. Also real branded unlocked mobile phones however they are not wholesale or cheap but people seem to pay premium for unlocked phones.
Anyone want to hook up for dropship I can go back to that country to do that. Not China by the way. I also emailed Merlina about those replica millionaire ebooks I wnted to buy but Merlina does not answer me.

    There's nothing scientific about it.

This isn't like selling Louis Vuitton nock-offs where you are clearly infringing on a copyrighted brand.

    ---------Look for Iphone killers.-----------

These are simply models with the same type of features (touch screen, etc)

    BOTTOM LINE .....

People want something that functions that same --- WITHOUT PAYING RETAIL FOR THE EXACT PRODUCT...

It's done over and over again .... from clothes to electronics.

I am just sharing info as to what is hot ..I think smitty was doing the same - in alerting what has worked for him.

In my example- these are not being adervtised as Authentic Apple products, and are not meant to be. They are advertised as a cheaper way to get a similar product - that looks and functions fairly identical.

    There is no trickery here.

The fact is there are better mp3/mp4 players on the market that are way cheaper than apple products - some that even look and function better as well. However , you will not hear of them because they do not have the marketing nor advertising dollars behind such as a know company like Apple.

How can you justlfy paying 2000 odd dollars for a handbag? (I dont buy myself only to sell)

This is where the replica market caters for the majority of the population and not the super rich.

China actually relies on replica manufacture where many chinese can make a living from it.

Dude, you definitely took a wrong turn some where. Go buy a Knock-off Magellan and get back on the track.

I am not justifying anything. I was simply defining what we were discussing in this thread.

What we .. or least I was discussing is buying/selling devices on ebay - that there is need for. Where that need, (demand) , creates revenues to those that can cater to it. (supply)

These devices coincidentally rival other similar popular products for a fraction of the cost without sacrificing major performance issues/differences.

No idea what your reading ........

Seems all clear to me, but Im wondering how you manage the custom fees to get this into the country. And whats the quantity you usually purchase? I have thought about getting into Ebay business but it seems frustating to sell (I prefer to cookie stuff!)

@ zskk1 - yes that is a little over $7000 net. I probably spent about 1k initially, but after that it was just reinvesting profits.

If you're asking for time/effort then you may as well not even bother lol. I honestly couldn't give you an exact time. I mean it just really depends on how long it takes you to list an auction after you have the product.

@ richjerk - haha hey I never said I was drunk, I said tipsy. Tipsy is about 3 shots from drunk hahaha. But yah I read it over today and it seemed pretty coherent. Thanks...

@ ISO - The fees can be anywhere from 10-30 percent of the total value + shipping costs. You can get some sellers that will include the customs clearance fees in their cost. If you want lower fees I found that getting smaller shipments more frequently reduces the fees. I guess customs likes to kinda fuck you on the bigger shipments. If you're shipment is somewhat smaller you have less of a chance of paying the fees.

You can call up customs to ask em some questions about certain items. I've actually found them to be quite helpful. The number below is for the U.S.A.

    (703) 526-4200 or 1-877-CBP-551

@ crsk - maybe vip lol.

Christmas times could be very good for us.

The Bre*****itling Rep watchs are from Taiwan not China and if you know about watches as I have been into watches for seven years you will know this is one of the best places for Rplcas.

Nice introduction to your business, thanks for sharin'.

How much profit do you make with each ipod sale?
    Can you recommend your seller(s)?

You'd actually be suprised to find that the quality available is pretty comparable to the real thing. In fact I have yet to get one complaint.

These people know they aren't getting the real thing (or they should after your description in the auction). THey know what they are paying for, but that is also why I suggest trying to get a sample order first before committing to a larger order.

Usually about 75 net per pod, but that number
goes up and down. It will be much higher around
    Christmas time and other holidays.

It is kinda funny how people will sometimes pay
more on eBay around christmas for what they could
just get in the store for cheaper.

I know a friend who gets replica rolex watches for $800 and then resells on ebay for between $3000-$5000.

He is trying to get me involved and it seems very lucrative.

To date, he has got all positive feedback and the only people who can tell they are fakes are more or less experts at rolex watches.

Has anyone had any experience with selling these types of goods like replica watches?

I know there is a ton of cash to make but the risk is potentially huge if your whole operation gets exposed.

    Probably like 20 - 25 auctions a week.

I pretty much sold every single one to the us market.

I always just do 7 day auctions. Always listing on Sunday.

10 day auctions are overrated. I've tested both and have gotten pretty much the same amount of views with 7 days.

If you use a 10 day auction I'd get some other upgrades to actually make it worth it.
