What do you guys think??

I was just introduced to Monavie yesterday by my boss. She is having a seminar at her house tomorrow with a "team leader," from Florida who I spoke with today. He showed me his stats and is currently making $2,000-$3,000/wk doing it part time. I did some of my own research and have yet to read a negative thing. It seems that it is the "real thing," health wise and making some legitimate coin. It has to do with a Pyramid which automatically registers as a scam to me, not to mention illegal. But it seems to be a "Legal Pyramid," so the website says and this team who is involved. I tried some today, the Monavie Active... it has an acquired taste but I did feel it going down. I never put anything in my body that I don't know about as I am a hypochondriac but I figured if it's all natural then why not. You're supposed to take 2 oz in the morning then 2 oz in the evening. My boss and her husband have been taking it for a month and they absolutely swear by it. They are both off their blood pressure meds and antidepressants which I wouldn't recommend but to each his own, I guess. I have noticed my boss to be more energetic, involved and happier...

Anyway, I just signed up under my boss today and placed my first order. It starts at like $32/bottle which lasts you about a month. And obviously the more you buy the cheaper. You can order in cases. So I bought 1 bottle for now but it doesn't cost anything to sign up and you don't have to buy anything if you don't want to which I liked. So with my $32 order, my boss gets a piece of that, then the guy my boss when under gets a piece and so on and so fourth. I guess they depend on having repeat orders which usually happens with these type of products, they even offer "Auto Ship," which gets billed automatically to your credit card on a monthly basis... the best kind of customers to have!

So I have invested $32 so far, which really isn't an investment at all b/c I will be drinking it but before I moved speed ahead with this, I though I'd ask what you guys thought. They offer your own website for like $10/month, otherwise you have to manually enroll people which I don't like doing. Especially b/c it asks for your Social Security # b/c it's considered a "Home Business." Again, I've done my own research and heard only good things and it's even been featured on Oprah, The Doctors, Today Show and many other shows. It's supposed to increase vitality, increase energy, help with your joints, prevent cancer and many other positive attributes.

Let me know what you guys think or if anyone is currently doing it or has done it. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. If nothing else, maybe I will have piqued someone's interest and some of you can actually make some money with this thing. Share the wealth, right? LOL :D Did I mention that Black Hatters Rule?

MLM sucks , if you don't believe it then googled "MLM Scams" and voila you get tons of content about it.
 
Monavie is great both as a product an as an mlm. Their compensation plan is amazing and anyone can make money, doesn't matter when you get in. Just wish their TOS were a little more lenient towards online marketing, however they have to protect their company against false claims...

The 'protect against false claims' may be just a canard to keep you from gaining sales in a manner contrary to their plan, which is to make you sweat out sales offline. I question any networking company that gives you very limited options as to internet marketing, the primary means of efficently promoting a product these days. It may be called MLM, but the main thing these companies want is for you to be a direct seller (doing personal sales, or closing prospects in offline 'presentations') and not a marketer (someone who generates prospects/leads). The IM approach allows you to automate and outsource most aspects of your promotion as you wish, while the sales model requires you to grunt out close after close with little ability to delegate the work.

Nothing's wrong with being an in-person closer, it's just not the same thing as being a marketer. The point is not 'can' anyone make money with it, but what do typical participants actually make with the program? Is the normal success rate for participants making good money over 75%, as with the top franchises, or is it more like a 95% failure rate (as with most new small businesses)? Are there few or no cash expenses (to compensate for the time-intensive direct personal labor), or is the purchase of offline materials, product inventory and an autoship commitment required?

If the latter, your MLM is gouging you. It may be more fair for you to look for a similar product available in an online affiliate program, and market that item through WH or BH methods. At least in that case it's truly your independent business operation, instead of you being dependent on a company that's mad leveraging your labor and cash.

Okay albagrl23 I'm going to give you a little bit of insight here.

1. Pyramid schemes are wack.

2. The fact you can promote online is wack.

3. The product isn't that great, it's just juice, and there are tons of acai products in all shapes and forms.

6. Rebills exist all over the internet. They are easy to get started with, pay way more then this product, and allow you to promote online. Like someone else stated, you are a direct seller in this case and with all the knowledge available here for ONLINE MARKETING, this is just plain stupid.

A little piece of info, a website costs about $5 a month, BUT THAT'S FOR A HOST and you can run a shitload more sites on it. So they are overcharging you $5 for (1) site that I doubt you can even edit.

8. "Oprah, The Doctors, Today Show and many other shows", search Acai Berry online, click on an ad on the right, and they will all say the same thing.

9. "Let me know what you guys think or if anyone is currently doing it or has done it." Yes, many AFFILIATE MARKETERS have promoted Acai Berry in the past. It was a fad sparked by Oprah just mentioning "Acai Berry" and blown out of proportion. It was extremely profitable due to rebills that gave affiliates as much as $40+ and practically couldn't be cancelled. These were, AGAIN, profitable to promote since you could market online the fact that it only cost $1.30 for shipping and handling when in fact they were REBILLED $70 or more. Again this was a fad, and these offers were actually pretty lucrative due to their deceptive tactics. IF YOU REALLY WAN'T TO GET IN ON ACAI (and it's late now and the competition even left is rediculous)... Well, I'm not even going to tell you how because it is a waste of time.


In conclusion this so-called business oppurtunity along with ALL MLM SCAMS are ultimately a drain of money, BUT more importantly a DRAIN OF TIME AND ENERGY.

Sure... Some people have made money with MLM programs but those people waste time on "SHORT TIME INCOME" that won't last and due to their time allocation, they for the most part besides MLM have no real experience in internet marketing. Therefore the second their so-called MLM income stream runs out... THEY'RE FUCKED!

This is just another MLM scam bro.

That shows that no more than 400 people are making any more than 100k with only like 4 of those making millions (who are the people who started it and their circle of buddies).

There are over 2 MILLION members in this MLM.

That means you have a 99.9% chance of making JACK SHIT + expenses.

The people who started the pyramid are already on top and have started years ago, you cannot outrank them like you can on google and you are just going to make them money and you are going to get nothing, that is how these work. These are pyramid schemes but use legal loop holes to escape prosecution. If you really want to get into something like this then look into starting your own MLM. Or start a business selling "training" to these people, they will do+buy anything to try not to be a failure and be outgoing and successful which they learn in these networking things.


Also, their product is snake oil. You can get more "ORAC" value from eating a fucking apple for 50c vs buying their acai berry juice for $40+ every week.

I am involved with MonaVie. Well, was. Now I just drink it. I got tired of having to give the above spiel to everyone.

Even though there's more than 1million distributors only bout 800,000 are beyond more than customers, and maybe half of that are making GREAT money.

It's good for your health, but after a while I got tired of trying to sell a magic juice.
 
MonaVie opened in my country not logn ago and its not so crowded here so im on it too. I also think the juice itself is kidna scam but they DO pay.
 
I feel you guys on what you're saying. I've been introduced to many a marketing scheme. Cutco/vector, etc. And when I heard about monavie it instantly set off red flags.

BUT, I am a healthy skeptic and always set out to prove myself or others wrong. So I attended a few meetings, talked with people, did a crap load of research on my own outside of any corporate offerings and honestly I can't find much wrong with it.

I've tried it, and so far I love it, don't think it's a miracle juice but it def helps just like other supplements/drinks would.

But a few things really took my interest

1) FDA recently backed one of their products

2) I've seen it do a few things I considered amazing for people close to me.

3) even though there are other ways to get the nutrients it provides, you don't get paid to use em.

4) Each bottle you purchase donates to feed two orphans (can't remember the country right now)

So I figured, why not get paid and healthy. Not worried about making millions, just enough to cover rent every month.

Like I said not a miracle in a bottle, but hey healthy + money = awesome in my book.


Might want to check your facts about the people who are making money though, I've personally met at least half of those people if that's true.
