Ok, I've been PMed by quite a few members asking for my backlinks, but I simply can not give the package away, since I worked very hard putting it together, and they are extremely quality high backlinks, backlinks that I haven't seen listed Anywhere.

Ok so anyway, I can't give away the package, but what I can do is give you guys a few of them, and with these kind of backlinks a few will do wonders.

So, I'll give you guys a choice, would you rather have 5 high quality .edu backlinks, or 20 high quality (.com, .net, .org) backlinks?

That's all I can give away, and trust me you haven't seen these backlinks anywhere, at least I haven't, and I'm a backlink junkie.

So, vote on it, and this weekend when I get back home from vacation, I'll put up whichever has the most votes. Fair enough?

I love this community which is why I'm even giving some of these away, you won't find these given away on any other forum. BHW Rules!

In terms of backlinking power do you class these 2 options as equal to each other?

I've read that the whole .edu and .gov thing are myths, just the fact that if an .edu website has 20k students, or a local .gov has 100k residents, they get a lot of visits. But a .com with 1 million visitors, for example, would rank higher.

I personally would rather have the 20 HQ backlinks

From my experience, and this may just be a fluke or based on some other criteria that I'm not noticing, but the .edu backlinks seem to hold more power. Now I'm not sure about this, as only a few of my domains don't have .edu backlinks, and that's because I was trying to test. So it could be because of the niche (more competition, etc) it's hard to tell. I've never set up, same niche, almost identical domains, same content, keyword placement, etc sites to compare & split test.

I have 15 sites ranked on page #1 for my main keyword, and 7 of those sites are #1 on the first page. All 15 of these sites have .edu backlinks, as well as a few .gov, and alot of forum profile backlinks. That's it.

1 of my main money sites, only has 800 backlinks, and it's #1. 30 or so of these backlinks are .edu , and maybe 10 are .gov. So it's hard to tell.

Either way though you can go wrong. These are very high quality backlinks, meaning no spam, sites are high pr or .edu , I don't use spammed-to-death places, unless it's hard to pass up (high pr, .edu, .gov, .mil).

I can almost guarantee that you haven't seen any of these. So it's worth it, either way. ;)

It very well may be a myth. Either way you can't go wrong! :)

Guys, the OP wants you to use the Poll on top of this thread and not to post your votes.

This way he can see the results immediately instead of having to go through the entire thread to figure out what the majority of the members want.

Edu and gov hold more trust with Google but I have seen some edu pages that are nothing more than a comment link farm.

20 HQ .coms or Some edu and gov?

Follow or nofollow?

This is for BH-methods, right?

Clearing things out!:P

Can I hold on for the .xxx domains? (when they eventually get ratified) :-)

Looks like the .edu pack is winning so far.

Someone asked about the 20 HQ backlinks (They are .com , .net, and .org - no .edu) But the domain they are on is High PR, and they are not spammed.

I'll be back home Friday or Saturday and I'll post up the winner! Thanks for voting!
