Megaupload Like Site? Anybody Started Yet?

Has anyone heard of or has started on a site like megaupload? I have considered funding such a operation if people are interested. Need to just do things little differently than Mr Dotcom did lol

There are tons of sharing sites out there that allow video streaming. The real problem is getting the site rolling and actually getting people to use it. Another problem would be, of course, the US gov.

Because it's based on Switzerland, not US

A lot of them are based out of US, thats why i always asked to me, why Megaupload still in US when they could go to some country without copyright laws.

Rapidshare comply with copyrights violation and take down. Megaupload didnt and actually favored it and gave rewards to members for uploading copyright material.

And also I believe rapidshare is fully offshores unlike megaupload

Megaupload was based offshores but they had 2 servers in Virgina which got them in trouble
