Re: Early Retirement Joint Venture Opportunity
Why only people with 500+ posts?
-
-
Re: Early Retirement Joint Venture Opportunity
Because chances of them being trustworthy is higher.
Lots of people here just fish for information or waste your time, or both.

Re: Early Retirement Joint Venture Opportunity
When this much money is involved i dont think post ratio matters since they need to meet in person anyway
atleast i would want to do that

Re: Early Retirement Joint Venture Opportunity
I smell so much Fake Horse$hit here! Beware!
If u would be serious about This then you wouldnt been asking for someone elses money when you say you had $20k but Instead you just go and buy a car with it
If u need the money and are actually Serious about this then Just go sell your car and there you go!
Stay away from this kid,I wouldn't trust him with a penny.

Re: Early Retirement Joint Venture Opportunity
You make 20K in 4 months or so, instead of reinvesting and buying properties, you spend a lot of it on a home entertainment system and other leisure items? Huge mistake.
Such actions don't/won't give potential investors any confidence in you..

You know, I do kind of need a car when I'm 16. The car cost me 10,000. To make $40,000 more, I would need about 8 months. I didn't want to wait 8 months. I wanted to get this going right now. Plus production time for my idea would probably give me another 4 months. So, yes, I could have a website up and running in a year. I didn't want to wait a year.
The thread didn't apply to you. So please don't post.

Re: Early Retirement Joint Venture Opportunity
Haste makes waste. You might want to tone it down a bit to attract investors.

Re: Early Retirement Joint Venture Opportunity
Kind of odd that you want people with 500+ posts when you don't even have 500 posts.
Not that post count matters that much..
Anyways good luck with your JV. Hope everyone who gets into this does their due diligence and comes out profiting.
Cheers!

Oh I know. It's just that I want a higher breed of Black Hatters, that's all.

Re: Early Retirement Joint Venture Opportunity
Hi,
The amount of money that you are requesting from BHW members is quite high, I suggest you to look for some real financial advice instead, this in terms of your own business idea being successful in the future. Money for real and honest Start ups is always available through the right sources..
Seriously, if your idea is that great and can literally retire a whole bunch of us in a short time then you should call this people..
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sequoia_Capital
The firm seeks to invest in companies based in the United States for early and seed stage investments. However, for growth stage investments, it does not limit its investments to any country. It invests between $100,000 and $1 million in seed stage, between $1 million and $10 million in early stage, and between $10 million and $100 million in growth stage. The firm prefers to be the first investor and business partner in a growth stage company.
They funded Yahoo when they just were a bunch of nobodies and newbies with a dream..

Wish you the best!
Maurice

Re: Early Retirement Joint Venture Opportunity
Most people fail because they spend all their time planning the grand scheme rather than getting a method to work on a micro level. Only scale after its proven on the micro level.
If you have a proven model with a consistent ROI on a micro level already then you will need to post proof to get any real investor on board.

Re: Early Retirement Joint Venture Opportunity
Yeah - fenchel. its not personal - i dont have that kind of money. And, i have read your success thread. What you ask for is a lot and even if someone had it - would not want to give it.
Like the guy above said, you need to show that you have experience in this and have some model of some sort - which includes an exi strategy if the business fails.
You 16, dnt get to caught up in the game. Instead, sit on the idea and let it develop some more cos believe me at your age their are alot of things u wont see.
If you thinks am wrong then do what you did to make 20K - again. And you wont need to ask for money - and you get to keep all the profits. AND - if you want more money am sure you wont need to provre yourself to anyone.
Fenchel -you made it to the top so fast, dont blow it. Sit around some more watch and listen and in a short time when your really ready - LIFE will throw you a line.
Giv a difficult job to a lazy man & he'll find an easy way to do it.

Re: Early Retirement Joint Venture Opportunity
Please close this thread.
While contemplating the thread, I have to agree with zenoGlitch. I have money right now, and I have it consistently. I should focus on growing what I have now instead of abandoning it in search of something greater that I'm not sure 100% it would work.
Thank you, members of Black Hat World.
Live long and prosper
Fenchel

Something more than "well said".
This is a businessman-investor correct though IMO.
You mostly intent to gamble here rather than invest.
Be careful cause as hard as you get the money, the easiest you loss these.
I wish you all the good luck
Nick
