Giving Away Free Articles to Trade for Testimonials

Hello Everyone,

I run a website that promotes world class copy and content writing services geared towards a high end clientele. I am currently looking to expand my testimonials section and so I'm proposing this mutually beneficial offer:

I will write you 1 original free article (roughly 500 words) in trade for a good testimonial.

Right now I only need about 5 people so I suppose it will be first come, first serve.

The testimonial doesn't have to be long and I don't want it to sound too salesy. Just something simple like this:

"The content I received from (My Website) was extremely well written. It was informative and perfectly geared towards my customer base. I have used other writers in the past but (My Website) delivers material that is of a much higher quality. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is serious about their business and understands the need for high quality content.

I'll include a link to your website if I feel it is appropriate. I'm not looking for any other writers, just anyone who runs an online business and regularly uses original content.

I want the testimonial to be honest so don't feel like you need to exaggerate or lie. I might rewrite it a bit to make sure that it flows correctly and fits into the space I have planned for it.

I generally charge a bit more for my services than other writers so the article you receive will represent a very good deal for you. You may use this article however you wish, you will own all the rights to it.

Having said all that, if you're interested then please PM me with some contact information and the topic and/or keyword you would like targeted. I'm a little busy right now so I may not get to send them out right a way but I expect that you won't be waiting longer than a week.

I've currently received 4 responses so I have space for one more.

If this really works out well then I might expand it and offer the same deal to another 5 people.

I just wanted to thank everyone for taking the time to respond to this thread. I received quite a few replies and, though I said I only wanted 5 people, I'm going to try to write an article for everyone who has replied, either in the thread or through PM.

I'm still a little busy with work for clients but I'm aiming to have this all done within a week or so. I've already started sending articles out so I just ask that everyone be patient.

If I haven't personally replied to you yet, don't worry, I will probably get to it tomorrow.

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to close the offer to anyone else for right now. Once I'm done with all of these then I may open it back up if I feel I need more testimonials.
