Looking for Marketers - $500 per sale
Hello, I help run a college degree program. We are willing to pay the marketer $500 for every degree awarded. Please do not mention the college’s name on this website.
The hook is “Turn your Work Experience into a College Degree”
The philosophy is that if you have the work experience you can receive credit for that experience. The college uses tests to turn work experience into a college degree. Basically students signs up, take the tests, and they can have their degree that same day.
- Popular with adults aged 24 – 60. Everyone wants degrees and plenty of people have work experience.
- With this model of education degrees can be acquired in a short amount of time, in a single session
- This is a low cost degree program The student pays all together around $1000 for thier degree. We split the tuition with the marketer.
Here is the splash page to the website: EDIT: PM ME FOR LINKS
Basically there are five forms the student needs to fill out to get their degree. Commission is triggered after fifth form is filled.
It's not too time consuming for the student. Degrees are acquired after one session.
If anyone here is interested in marketing this program, you may sign up to the affiliate program here: EDIT: PM ME FOR LINKS
Affiliate links and advertising material is available after creating an account and logging in.
This is a high converting product which is attractive towards a general audience of adults aged 24 years and older. I have advertisers who are making thousands of dollars a day with this.
As an advertiser all you need to do is get the words “Turn your Work Experience into a College Degree” or “Is your Work Experience worth a College Degree?” in front of the audience along with a link to the site and the rest takes care of itself.
We pay on a weekly basis via paypal.
AGAIN, PLEASE DO NOT MENTION THE COLLEGE’S NAME OR URL ON THIS WEBSITE. The college is sensitive of its affiliations.

Re: Looking for Marketers - $500 per sale
The commission is on variable basis as follows:
Associates Degree: $300
Bachelors Degree: $500
Masters Degree: $700
On advertising this program:
You may either create a text advertisement; Ie.
"Is your work experience worth a College Degree?"
For Email Advertisements, there's a beautiful owl picture ad in the Affiliates Section which can be used as the body of an email.
For Article Marketing, a way to do it is to take the text from the Splash Page of the website and turn it into an article.

Re: Looking for Marketers - $500 per sale
What forms of advertising are okay? You mentioned PPC campaigns, and email marketing. What about other blackhat advertising? This could be very profitable, so please let me know.
Also, are you an affiliate manager, or an affiliate that receives referral bonuses? What do you get for showing us the opportunity?

Re: Looking for Marketers - $500 per sale
what do these leads need to do in order for us to get paid?
nevermind, i saw what needs to be completed

Re: Looking for Marketers - $500 per sale
Basically what I'm asking, is craigslist marketing okay?

Basically we're splitting the commission with the affiliate 50/50. I don't get anything out of it. My job is just to expand business by bringing in affiliate marketers.
PPC, email, social marketing, and article marketing is okay. Craigslist marketing is okay.
Forum spam is not okay.
This is a profitable niche because college degrees are big business. What we're basically doing is undercutting traditional colleges by making degrees available quicker and cheaper based on the knowledge and experience the student already has. After the student completes those five steps on the middle link they'll get their degree.

I mean the commission is good and I know that this will convert because many people want a college degree but is the pay out good?
Thanks!

Re: Looking for Marketers - $500 per sale
From a quick 2 minutes investigation here I can see you are lacking several things:
1. A landing page
2. credibility
3. a clear and defined benefits so visitor wants to know more.
I think you should work on all of the above and then the marketers here can have something to work with instead of throwing traffic at it hoping for something to stick.

Does sound interesting... I am curiouis about your changing the price from one thread to another? Or is that based on what the end user does? Little more info please.

Re: Looking for Marketers - $500 per sale
I'm with frojat. Basically, you need to find a way to sell something like this... There's some good info on the site you posted, but nothing that will help us market, give the viewer more information.
This is something I am highly interested in, so if you could provide as many details as possible, such as if you have an affiliate system set up already?

Re: Looking for Marketers - $500 per sale
The problem is..when this site uses the word "degree"..it is not the same as a normal university web site using the term.
The "degree" is not worth anything or relevent in the real world.
So..that would answer why you are on a BH site looking for affiliates.
I only mention that for the obvious reason that if affiliates bust their arse to get people to land on at least the first page...most "customers"..with half a brain..after reading the page and trying to click on links..will realise it is just a piece of paper worth zero....
So..there would be a lot of tyre kickers..
Sorry...

Did he answer how WE get paid? a sale? a lead? what?

Re: Looking for Marketers - $500 per sale
based on the OP's numbers, I'm qualified for 2 PHD's lol
Seriously...
I'm also with frojat in his assessment. The page has good content, but it's not a converting a sales page. What are the conversion numbers? If you have affiliates making thousands per day you should have metrics for that.
Also some simple navigating around the site pulls up like 4 different templates being used on the site. That is big red flag to users and me. Time to check out BIG "G"
The quality of the degree is also questionable. They are a testing center for other schools at best. No accreditation with anything other than some hokey national testing organization. Even the logo used for the "USA Best Schools 2009" leads to a page that basically says.."what do ratings by nationally recognized magazines mean anyway...ratings? ..we don't need no stinkin' ratings!"
So basically you get people to fill out one of your forms and you upsell them on as much as possible. Then they get a piece of paper that they could have gotten created by any kid that knows photoshop, so they can say they have a degree? Because that's what it looks like to me. If it is, fine. But call a spade a spade
My take? It's a total scam

The benefit is a college degree. Need anything more be said?

That was for a different college with a different pricing structure. Please consider the previous thread irrelevant. The pricing structure for this degree program is splitting the tuition 50/50 between the marketer and the college. The structure is as follows:
Associates: $300 per head
Bachelors: $500 per head
Masters: $700 per head
Did he answer how WE get paid? a sale? a lead? what?
Paid per sale. See the title of this thread. "$500 per sale".
Do the persons who enter the program get a real degree or is it just a fake/scam?
It's competency based. What it basically does is capture your skills and abilities through aptitude testing.
just curious because if i will promote it i want to make sure that the people dont pay that much for a worthless piece of paper.
Short term degree programs like this can and do exist. It's not "fake". Have you ever gotten an IT certificate like A+ and Linux+? It's the same deal. A short testing program to capture your ability, which can be done in a single session.

Re: Looking for Marketers - $500 per sale
IT certifications are one thing. They are based on a standardized test that are recognized by the industry. If you pull a bullshit cert out at a job, they will call you on it.
But college degrees, no one really gives a shit. You can tell them you went anywhere and people just accept it.
That pap from harvard wont sell here. yes it's a good idea, but guess what? no standards and no accreditation for the idea. Your degree is not worth he paper its printed on.
You are running a degree mill. And not a well designed one. Hell you cant even find your campus address on google! Dude make up an address at least.
If it's a degree mill , fine.I don't care. But what guarantees do we have that you will pay?
If you're scammin people fine. But don't bullshit a bullshitter. I want to know that I will get PAID. I bet if I took 15 minutes I could probably find out where you got that video from.
next time you want to build something like this, contact me. I will at least make it look good and increase your conversion . I'll do it for flat rate and a piece of the back end
BTW Good job on the first draft of the landing page

Your degree is not worth he paper its printed on.
That's your opinion. Competency based learning is a valid way of earning a degree.
You are running a degree mill. And not a well designed one. Hell you cant even find your campus address on google! Dude make up an address at least.
The address is at the bottom of the second link of the op: EDIT: PM ME FOR LINKS
But I'll see about putting it at the bottom of the Splash Page (the first page).
If it's a degree mill , fine.I don't care. But what guarantees do we have that you will pay?
It's not a degree mill. We're not "selling" degrees. We're providing a testing service. We're providing the same pre-employment tests employers have you do when signing up for a job.
A degree like this tells the employer "See, I'm already qualified"
Ultimately you don't have a guarantee that any affiliate will pay you. You'll just have to take our word for it like when signing up for any other affiliate program. Once you start bringing in clicks, it doesn't take too long before money starts rolling in. We don't make money by screwing you over.
In past trials I've estimated that on average we get at least three sales out of every 100 craigslist ads in the "general section" on craigslist. Unlike other products, this one can be marketed towards a mass general audience and is attractive to anyone over the age of 24. The desire for degrees is universal.

No. The process is that you take the skills tests, and then you get you get your degree. No "selling degrees" is involved.
Everything is moving towards tests these days. The GED can be tested out in a single session. Your Drivers License can be tested out in a single session. State License? Test. IT Certificates? Test test test.
Competency based learning is a valid way of earning a degree in a short amount of time. We're paying you to get students who want the quickest route to the results.
Students come in, take their tests, pay their tuition, and leave with their degree. We're providing them exactly what they want.
here's a tip...put the address somewhere on your homepage or maybe the contact us page?
I'll see about that.
BTW that address? that's a park! Make better choice. AT LEAST TRY to make it look like a real school! I can SEE it's a park on google maps, even the street view says its a park!
It's not a park. You're not even looking at the right address. It's on the other side of the street where the Google pinmark is. It looks like an office building because it is. It's an online college located in an office building.
STOP TROLLING
As a marketer your job is simply to get the words I mentioned in the first post in front of the viewer and watch the money roll in. It's not to debate the ethics of testing out of your degree in a single session.
You are not to question. You are not to stalk. Your job extends only to advertise and make money for us and you.
If anyone is interested in advertising a service which works well with a general audience, and which is highly profitable, send me a PM and I will provide you the necessary links and advertising materials.
Converting landing pages are available.
My AIM name is rambolincoln. You can catch me there too.
