Default Gday from Australia

Hi all,

After 12yrs i've finally found my home.

I made my first $100 on the net in 1996 by spamming bulletin boards with 0011 ph sex lines & gave up after 2 weeks. I've still got the scars now from all the flaming

In 1997 i got about 3 visitors to my first ecommerce site, until i discovered meta tag keyword stuffing. The next 10 visitors that year nearly crashed my server.

Anyway, this is one of the best forums I've ever come across. Your going to be seeing my ugly mug around here quite alot.

cheers,
shane

Hey Shane!

Howdy from Texas!

This is a great forum! Lots of great guys and gals here. I've learned so much here.

Where downunder? I love Australia, would love to go back soon! Spent three weeks touring there from Cairns to Sydney, Melbourne to Adelaide, Diving on the Great Barrier Reef to 4 wheeling in the Blue Mountains and Hunter Wine Valley. Oh yeah, had lunch at Parliament House in Canberra, hosted by Parliament in their private dining room. Was even on "Good Morning Australia". Got to meet and spend some time with Sonia Kruger! It was quite a trip! Can't wait to go back!

Fair Dinkum!

Scott

I lucked out and got to go with a great group of people. We were representing the American Travel Industry, and our Australian friends comp'd almost 100% of everything we did, ate, stayed etc. We were kind of Ambassadors. Thats why we were entertained by Parliament, interviewed on Good Morning Australia etc. I was at an event in Sydney and Sonia Kruger walked over to me and introduced herself and we sat down and had a nice long talk. At the time, I only knew her as a beautiful Blonde who was just as sweet as could be. Only later did I find out who she was. It was funny because I had watched her in the movie on the plane from Honolulu to Cairns and didn't even know it when I was talking to her. She was really a sweet girl! We were really treated like royalty there. The whole trip cost me $700, they told us if we had had to pay for everything that was comped it would have been over $15,000. Plus Qantas gave us free Business Class air! It was great. Im sure when I go back, I'll be stuck in coach! Hopefully next trip will be nice, slow, and relaxing! Was offered a job in Sydney, but just couldnt take it. Now I wish I had. Oh well...
