Hello fellow BHW-wannabes and actual BHters.

I've only recently started my online activities in the form of a blog and a couple of BANS sites so its safe to say I am a noob.

I'm currently in NYC but only recently moved back after many years living abroad in the UK and Asia. Most don't think I could have grown up in NYC because I'm so laid back and calm. Living overseas has definitely mellowed me out and helped me to appreciate other viewpoints.

After finding BHW and reading the forums I love the fact that it is so active (information overload sometimes) and with so many different members from all over the place. That is a big plus.

I've been reading up on everything from SEM, SEO, white hat, grey hat, blue hat and now black hat. I have to say being a straight shooter, I never thought I would be drawn to the art of black hat, but it is truly fascinating stuff and makes me want to dig much deeper every day to see what I can learn.

I hope to contribute some knowledge in the near future and try not to ask too many dumb questions. (grew up being taught that there were never any stupid questions......moms never trolled around on interwebz forums)

One thing to keep in mind about blackhat is you need to try and stay one step ahead of the game. Be an innovator, try to come up with new methods, do not be afraid to try shit out no matter how crazy it may sound. If you just try and follow what others are doing, then you are already behind in some way. The biggest hurdle you need to realize and over come is FEAR. Do not be afraid to do things, if it fails then try another one of your ideas. Always be reading, always be thinking and you should do just fine.
