Peter and Hostwinds were BHW hosts until mid 2012. Based out of the US their services were always professional and well run. Some of you may have met them at UnGagged - Las Vegas 2014 where they had a strong presence with a 20x10 stand next to BHW.

Professional, courteous and knowledgeable with in-house US based support Hostwinds are one of my go to companies for US based hosting.
 
Did I get this right... Say I buy a VPS from you guys now, but don't need a set up that's too big and powerful, so I'll take a cheaper one. In say, six months, I'll need a bigger one and wish to transfer, the discount will follow me?

If so, I think I know where to get my VPS from.

I've an existing hosting going on, is it possible to use the coupon for the existing host? Right now I pay my hosting monthly.

Please understand that your existing services with Hostwinds cannot have the discounts applied to them, nor can you cancel your service and order a new package to receive the discounts.




Hostwinds does however, allow for you to "upgrade" your current order, to an order of higher value than what you are presently using. For an example, if you are paying $10 per month for a VPS, and wish to upgrade, you may do so with the coupon, if your discounted price is greater than your $10 per month of your previous service. You are also allowed to place new orders for new services using the discount.
 
How many more hours is this deal on for? Prob won't be able to purchase until 8 hours time.

You have until at least Monday :), possibly longer
 
Ordered one right away after reading Admin's review.
Haven't used Hostwinds hosting till now.
Hope for the best..
 
So if I get a reseller package and then later want to upgrade it to a vps the coupon will still carry over?

It will! This is a lifetime discount, that carries through all upgrades
 
Lol i remember i used last years' hostwinds 50% recurring discount and about 6 months down the road they decided to charge me more without letting me know and my site was down for days... Then i paid the rest and just a few months they decided to drop the price again...

I have sites there but i hope that now they keep their word with the recurring discounts...
