Note:

PPC for an advertiser refers to the amount you (as an advertiser) pay per click to your link/ad, and this is paid to whoever displays your ad (Big G for adwords). It is often referred to as CPC (Cost Per Click)

PPC for a website builder/owner refers to amount of money you earn when someone clicks on an adsense ad from your website (in the case of adwords/adsense)
