Bad monetizing
Hi
I have a TvShow site with about 8k unique visitors per day. But I am getting paid very poorly.
Example: I joined trafficrenevue dot com. I am using their SlidingBanner, there stands that they pay $3.44 for 1k US visitors. I did some calculations and I have 4k US visitors per day, so thats ~$13 but I did receive only $2.
I tried the slidingbanner is working fine every time I visit, tried with proxys and worked also all the time.
I tried Popads dot net and same problem.
So my question is: Are PPC companies ripping us off?
Any suggestion how to monetizise?
Thanks.

Re: Bad monetizing
Have you tried content locking?
This can be set up in some pretty clever ways, such as having the locker pop up only after say 3 minutes of watching, meaning that the viewer will already be interested in your stuff (and know that its real) before asking to fill a CPA offer.
Obviously it wouldn't work if you get lots of returning traffic as this would just piss your visitors off - but the majority of your traffic is new then you should definitely give it a go.
Want to sell your profitable website? meathead1234 and I have sold over $1,000,000 in sites in 2011 alone. Our clients have HUGE budgets for the right site! Check out reviews on our JV thread NOW!

Thanks for the reply!
The thing is I will lose all my traffic, about 15% of my traffic is organic.
Other 85% is coming from Tv entertainment sites such as sidereel, tvduck, blinkx and some others. And they don't allow content locking.

Re: Bad monetizing
I contacted the support and seems like that $3.44 for 1000 unique views doesn't apply on all publishers, it's average. They will rate your website when you register.
Any other suggestion to monetise?
