How to Monetize Domains with 185,000,000 Global Monthly Search on Google?

Hi guys, i need ur advice on this. i've been doing online marketing for past 2 yrs. but i'm new in domain name business. I need ur valuable suggestion i've found few domain names (around 10) which have 185,000,000 Global Monthly Search on Google. Basically domain names have a two word keyword, I just want to know what all options are available to monetize them. Please share your experienced advice. Thanks

Of course you need traffic in order to monetize.. you've got to put content, SEO, try to rank high.. a domain alone without content will yield small amounts of direct navigation type-in traffic non unless its a highly sought keyword domain with lots of type-in traffic then it can be monetized through domain parking or having a MFA lander..

xthoms: i have content for domains, i've cpa offers related to the same niche..

cyberzilla: yes bro i checked it on google adwords.

I've one more question that what should i do?
1. if i park my domain and leave them, would that help me make some money or
2. if i promote my cpa offers on it with google ads and do a lil bit seo to rank them?

Which one would u suggest and why? plz plz reply as i'm a newbie in domain business and you guys are the guru's.

Something doesn't add up. I find it extremely hard to believe that the bloodthirsty domain market has left any exact matching TLDs unregistered on a 185mil monthly search term. So there's something we're either not being told, something is being misunderstood, or the Adwords data is just way way out of whack (which happens time to time)...

thanks for reply bro, i can show u the image of the adwords search i did but i cannot post images as i've very few posts, and most of the keywords mentioned there are available as domains but they are just two misspelled words.

So they are typo domains of terms that get 185mil searches? The typos themselves aren't actually getting that any searches? That makes more sense then. If you want to send over a screencap with the terms blanked off or something, just imagevenue it and drop me a pm. Or if you don't care if I know the terms just shoot me a pm with the term and I'll check Adwords myself. I'm not gonna run out and register them on you, if I think it's a good go, I'll let you know and you can proceed from there. Just seems very odd that a term with that many searches would have an unregistered domain just laying around on any TLD.

Typo domains are really only good if it's a typo of a site that people are typing into their address bar. Like if you got netfilx.com that would be pretty awesome. If it's just a typo of a popular search term it's probably not worth anything.

Ahh, no harm. The typo point makes things a little clearer anyhow. I can't really comment on the monetizing of typo domains as it's not something I have dabbled in anyways.

If it's a tm name (blogs and non corporate are not as serious) I would not bother developing it to much.

Can you clarify something for me.
1. Do you own these names?
2. How much traffic do the names get daily?

There are better solutions then parking if you have decent typo traffic.

just punch in some youtube and facebook typos if you want to see how to monetize typos. i've seen similar methods applied to both.

That's really your call. Like I said, I've nevr dabbled in typos. I never saw them as being something with that much potential in my own game plan really. That being said, there are obviously people who make money with them.

If your domains have exact match search counts and low competition you can easily get rankings in search engines.

the OP wasnt really addressed.. your idea of mistypes of a huge name sounds smart, but doing a mistype of fb is going to bring completely random visitors so theres little, if any value in that IMO...

however; if u took dannyhw's idea and got mistypes of a site like netfilx... NOW you know what the visitor was going to do, and could use that clue to guess the best type of offer to put in front of your visitors.

I hope this doesnt count as hijacking the thread, but in the above example; are there ways to LEGALLY monetize targetted mistype traffic without getting hammered by the company being spoofed? I could easily get a list of available mistype domains for the biggest targetted names in the world, but doubt they would be to happy about that.
