I am looking for a good course or ebook that is specifically designed to make money promoting CPA offers via PPC.
I've tried promoting CPA offers with PPC in the past, but every attempt has seen me losing my entire investment while making very little in return. I believe that my problem has been not knowing how to find a good offer or create landing pages (I usually just direct link to offers.) The problem is that I have no idea what a "landing page" for a cpa offer is supposed to look like. Am I supposed to send them to an article that is plugging a CPA offer? I honestly don't know what a landing page is supposed to be.

Here are a few of my failed PPC ventures:
Adwords Account with $200 in it - spent all $200 and made only $24 back promoting various form submits.
Revtwt account with $100 - made me $8 promoting email submits, but part of the reason is that revtwt scams their advertisers.
Yahoo - $50 or something like that, I got it free as a sign up bonus. - Lost all of it with $0.00 return promoting a gaming offer.
Buysellads.com - not really PPC but I spent $80 there and made the massive amount of $0.00 back, promoting free credit report offer

So yeah, I would like a recommendation for how to learn PPC methods such as creating good landing pages, selecting and testing offers, and choosing keywords. It would also be cool if someone could point out a course that specialized in Facebook PPC or media buys. It would be even cooler if the course was available free in the downloads section or on another site.

I would just like to say I have the same exact questions/ problems and have been wondering this for quite some time. A lot of ppc information on this website is mixed and responses from people vary from person to person about this topic. If anyone suggests a good way to learn ppc I would be very greatfull as well!

I've read a lot of your replies lately, and all of them seem to be telling others to just do their own research instead of you actually helping the good people here at BHW out.

The OP is asking for resources to get started with ppc, as in an ebook. You made a list of ppc networks. I don't want to sound rude but did you read what the topic was about before you replied to it?

I have been digging into this myself lately and the only advise I can offer is that you need to make a decent landing page with a "squeeze" writeup of how cool the "following offer" is, this is the way to foreplay someone into wanting your offer. That is what you have been critically been missing. Also you really have to do your KeyWord Research! I can not stress that enough! Really there is not a big need for an ebook if you follow the two things I just said, but I believe there are some in the downloads section. Good luck!

How about you guys download PPC formula 2.0 from the download section?. I think that's the best resource available anywhere about CPA-PPC business model.

guess have to spend more money in order to earn more in return in a longer time period..

Hey thanks for sharing your story about losing money with PPC. It makes me feel a little better because I have not had any success with PPC either. I feel like it's just becuase we don't have enough experience with it. And I totally know what you mean about not having very good PPC rersources on BHW. It's actually pretty surprising to me that the CPA and PPC sections are not very active. Especially when it seems like anybody who's earning a respectable income is doing it with PPC and CPA.

I think we just have to keep searching for those gem threads on the forum and read up on the books int he download section. I know that's what I'll be doing! Goodluck

What you are asking for is too much. As in you won't find it all in one place.Every successful person I know, whether it be with PPC, SEO, Or just affiliate marketing in general has learned their trade over time and picked up tips along the way. You will NEVER get an ebook that makes you profitable from the get go.

I'm pretty crap at PPC myself to be honest, But am decent at SEO. And as much as I hate to admit it, I learned alot from reading crappy ebooks. There was never one Ebook I could point to, but just one gem in every 10 ebooks or so that got me that one place higher in SEO.

Head over to the download section and just search PPC. Read all the crap that is there, wade through the BS, until you find just that one thing that says "Hey, do this and it always makes my conversions higher". You know it may be something like "Turn the buy now button into red" or something as simple as that. But it is all little things.

I wasted lots of money on payperclik and never worked for me, but it does work great for alot of people. i just gave up and got tired of wastin money and moved on to other methods.

i heard PPCformula 2 is really good, but its on the dont share list. I beleive it was around one thousand when it first came out, and im not sure but i think its not available anymore

Once ppcformula 2 becomes outdated and the market changes, than there might be a versin 3 released. best bet is to keep up to date and keep a look out for 3

All PPC network works real well and that really depends on your niche. I have a niche that kick as on adwords but is doing terrible on MSN and YSM. I also have a niche on YSM and MSN that kick as but do poorly on adwords. Sometimes when you get lucky, you might find a niche that converts real well on both. I think the reason why there is no specific way to do PPC is because it requires a lot of testing. Doing a lot of testing required a lot of money.

*lets say a niche pays $100 and converts 1:10 on a very targeted keywords
*this means the EPC(earning per click) is $10
*to break even you can bid Up to $10 per click
*to make this targeted keyword very profitable you obviously need to bid under $10
*I usually bid half on my break even amount which is $5 per click to double my money.

this is just my example. There is no consistency on EPC. It could vary everyday.

I never bid on broad keywords. All my keywords are either Phrase or Exact.
I didn't say you shouldn't bid on broad keywords. In my experience broad keywords is just a pain in my butt.

Always include your bid keywords on your ads title. This will increase you ctr dramatically.

example: bid keyword= [movie download]

when writing ads remember to include bid keywords on the ad title. Brief feature and benefits of the product and finally call to action. Best way to get an idea is on the landing page of the product.
