First of all, i want to thank everyone who posts on this forum regularly, and all the people running it behind the scenes.... you are all awesome.

Here's my idea:

Can i install a g toolbar in all the computers in an office building and make money from the searches? What about in a high school library or something (assuming i had the means to do so)

No thoughts... maybe it doesn't work... i've never made said toolbar before...

If you where some sort of person in IT technician you could install a google custom search & make a toolbar for it. Most computer's in offices and schools won't let you install anything as you know, unless you have admin privileges?

Indeed, that is true... the assumption is that you do have admin privileges. In fact, i was going to go as far as to pitch it to a schoolboard in my city as a form of extra revenue, and just split the earnings.

maybe you can bind you toolbar with the installer of zangocash, that will earn you about 1,15 per install I believe.

that's an idea. I would like it to earn money for ads or sponsored search results though. 1 dollar per install is nothing when i have access to a schoolboard.

Most offices and all schools run on the same network = IP = you only get credited for on install aka you waste like 10 hrs downloading a toolbar onto 300 computers to get paid 60 cents.

Most of the time, you won't be able to install the toolbar unless you have admin rights.

However, you can more easily change the default home page to a search page or something like that.

In the past, I've done that at some hotels I stayed at. :-)
