I don't seem to get reputation when I get it without a comment

Title says it all. Lately I got some notifications that says someone added rep for me, they even say so in my thread, but my rep doesn't seem to increase when they don't add a comment for it ('no comment added' it says - or something similar). In cases they add a comment, my rep increases normally. Is this normal / is it only me? And if not, is there a way to solve this problem? Because since I'm new here, added rep would mean a lot to me and I have already missed a lot of points because of this error (if its an error at all - maybe its on purpose?). Can someone please enlighten me?

You dont get any richer plus sometimes you see people with a lot of reputation ending up in the shitlist.

Reputation and post count mean nothing. Sure, it'll make you look experienced on the forum but if you're here to network and do business then people will most likely judge you on the way you deal with them and the quality of your work.

Some users can Rep+ you but they have zero rep power because have fresh accounts or low post count so you get the rep but it adds nothing.

Instead of stressing over it be happy you helped somebody.

It depends on the REP power the users have. They might be having rep power of 0, so it's just a comment for you

your rep and post count mean nothing. a high rep member has just the same chance as a
low rep member of being either a good guy or a scammer.
worry more about your ways to earn money rather than rep

When i am posting methods, i am posting because i want to help someone, and what does makes me happy is when somebody send me a pm with a kind words and that makes me really happy because i was able to help someone, not because i want to have more rep and tnx on this forum.

I always thought post counts and rep were silly any way...I do think it is funny though when someone gets called out for having a low post count like it means something, just makes the person doing it look stupid.

I agree with dariobl, REPUTATION is just a number, but, the PMs and thank you from the people you helped is the important thing.
