How long can I edit my own posts? What's the time limit after I submit the post?

Yes you can edit your posts, but the time limit for doing so is 15 minutes.

If it's been longer than 15 minutes and you need to have a thread or post deleted, the best way to accomplish this is to hit the report button at the top of every post:

Just include a brief note explaining that it's your post and you'd like to have it deleted. This report, along with the exact location of the post, will be sent to every mod/admin via email, which will result in a faster response.

NOTE: You can also request an admin/mod to edit your post for you, but it needs to be a very special circumstance.
