Hi, first of all, I have looked through the TOS (actually read... well, thoroughly skimmed it.), FAQ, and all appropriate stickies.

I keep trying to make threads about certain topics (totally related to the forum in which it's posting is attempted), but my posts are denied publication because I am a new user. I get this, I understand you need to prevent newbies from asking entirely redundant questions, things that can be answered by just googling or search these forums with a few simple keywords.

However, the posts I'm trying to make are being denied even though I'm asking questions that I truly cannot find the answers to by searching or lurking. It's just too bad that because I'm so new (and truly can't afford to pay $97 right now) that I'm not getting help because of the moderation system.

Anyway, could someone clarify why my new threads are being barred from publication? I suppose it's hard to know exactly why without reading the content of them, but I can't even show you and example! It would get denied publication! Agh!

I know it sucks but i think there is a post count or number of days you have to be active before that goes away. You also have the option to donate $100 to get rid of the restrictions.

Hang in there i'm in the same boat :/

Do you try to post links in your threads perhaps? There are filters in place to prevent spam, when a user has only a few posts. It goes away as you become more active in the forum.

I avoid placing links in the body/title of the thread, also I avoid words associated with "sell" or "buy", no swearing, etc. I really feel like I'm following all the rules but I'm still getting denied approval to post. If I must include a link, I usually work around the domain itself and post some convoluted phrase that a human could figure out what I meant

I believe I read that 50 posts and/or 30 days will be enough to avoid this block - Can I get individual confirmation that this is the case?

You are getting an error message to go with that denial though right?

I am still not sure if the limit is by posts or by time. I read it was limited until you had 15 posts but that turned out wrong too.
What I can tell you is that I have problems to post too.

Try to rephrase your words, or try "site:blackhatworld dot com (space) + "keyword"" to search for the things you need on Google.

Hope this helps. :)

Wow, I can't even quote you to respond, I guess because of how you spelled out bhw? Thanks, though.

Actually, quoting without links/offensive words should be possible.

I am not sure what your problem is right now. Are you using Firefox with addons perhaps?
I know one of mine prevented me from posting, then to format it with lets say an enter or two to separate paragraphs.

Not to say addons are wrong, I installed them for a reason, but still. :P

Guys when you are brand new the system they use is unbelievably strict. Anything even close to spam, off-topic or offensive just flags and blocks it.

You can get around it by just looking through your post and finding any words that could be spammish . After about 15 posts you will be ok.

On this particular forum, I think they might have a reason to be strict. :D

The 15 post thing I am not so sure of since I still can't a post to google dot com or talk about someone being a cheeked back side.

Thanks for your input though since you are absolutely right about checking and rephrasing posts. :)

On a side note: I don't really mind. It is just how the forums works. I guess they learned the hard way to protect themselves.

Edit: Sorry to edit your post but it was a problem in me quoting you.

OK, well I appreciate the feedback. I'll just continue to play it by ear and do most of my research through lurking.

I couldn't quote that user earlier because they mentioned a url, even though it wasn't even close to actual domain syntax
