logging in problem

hi there, recently when i tried to login to BHW, after entering my username and password, it's logging in. but my username and password field still show blank after i've logged in.

strange thing is, when I click on member downloads section, it shows my user name.

could someone please advise.

Yup I am also facing the same issue since the last few days. I guess its merely a technical glitch so the admins will fix it in due course.

LOL i thought i was the only one, but it seems to be a glitch for everyone too?

the quick fix for this is to just hit HOME again and it should update to show you are logged in already.

Same problem with me. The login fields still show up as if I were not logged in when I am on the homepage, but the read/unread bolding in the most recent threads appears to be correct. Seems to only be happening in firefox. Problem goes away when I navigate away from the home page.

If you go to another page, then come back, you'll be logged in. It's been doing this on and off for as long as I remember.

Yes its happening to me on chrome. When I login it says it gives me an error that I need to login again but then it show my user name at the top right of the site that I logged in; weird but then go to home and I open in new tab and every thing is fine I think BHW need to fix this glitch.

i have been getting:

"Wrong username or password. You have used up your failed login quota! Please wait 15 minutes before trying again"

Is someone brute forcing my account? DB error?

And even on this thread right now, I had to login in again to reply, then once I replied... It says I wasn't logged in (but it left the reply)... And I didn't have to login thsi time...

I have exact the same problem! I cleared cache and cookies. I visited www.blackhatworld.com and still the same issue....

Pls do something, i can't pm anymore! It always logs me out....

I want to start a BST, but i don't know if it's a good idea with these problems...

I'm having the same problem. It's a hassle because I frequently use the search function, so I have to refresh every so often.

I use brute force -- meaning I try logging in again, and it usually works. Weird things like this is happening all over. Must be a virus that nobody has uncovered yet. My email account for 15 years now tells me I'm sending spam mail and blocking me.

I got it to work today. Clear your cookies, cache, and all that stuff. Then check the box that says "remember me." Then sign in and it should work. It is only working when I have remember me checked off before I sign in.

Same thing happening here. I have already selected the remember me box.but it's not working some times.
