Y so slow?

For a couple weeks now, site is brutal.
This has been on going for a few months already.
How is it not fixed by now?

yeh i still get a bit of site hang
page not found ect
my net is in uk and isnt slow
but hay a loading bhw is better
than not at all

Have seen LOTS of times over the past couple of days where valid pages will result in 500 or 503 errors - seems due to loading. I hope that a good solution is being worked on.

*It's frustratin' when I can't get my BHW fix now that I'm back... ya know?*

When they upgraded, the site was rather very fast. I assume it's the host. Well, that's all I'd assume - duh. Maybe still on a 100Mbps connection, and it's not fast enough for BHW? Hopefully HostWinds doesn't oversell...

Slow for me in the uk too but much faster on my iPad than on PC

Working fine and fast for me from UK and USA for last few weeks (apart from when the IP change happened, detailed in the lounge by Damien).

All much better now than it used to be this time last year.

I've had days where its 500 or 503 errors for hours. Lately its been ok though.

I agree. I have the fastest internet money can buy in my area. I can download a movie in miniuts but this forum is as slow as christmass

I completed a major network upgrade this weeend to help solve the slow speeds so one question is it any faster for you guys?

an upgrade last week it would be unfair to
comment right now, i can say last week it
was sometimes slow - sometimes no page load
sometimes ide post 1 message on a post and ide
constantly get u can post for 60 seconds for
a duplicate post? it was only 1 post. page not found
see how it goes this week.

I'm at work right now and we are on a fiber optic connection and the speed is great. However, when I go home to my cable connection 1.5 Mps then it's slower but that's my problem.

I´m experiencing similar problems... On my regular desktop connection I always receive a timeout, except when I use a proxy. Probably the server networking route is messed up.

On the other hand, on my cellphone 3g connection I can acess without a problem.

Hope you guys can check this out rather soon than later.

Whenever it comes to these types of threads I always hear about BHW servers being upgraded, etc. It's been like this for months and it never seems to happen... It works for a few days, sometimes a week or two, and then it goes back to slow, unable to load... And once it does load, I Jizz In My Pants!
