Smaller Donations

Only new to the site but im already thinking about donating and from what i can see there is only two options to donate. Both which require you to fork out a huge Sum all at once. Ok there are people making $100+ daily and can afford it for the majority of this forum its to much.

Have you ever thought about maybe 1 Month Donation or 2, 3 just something smaller. In that time im sure anyone would be able to gain enough to do it again next month.

The reason for not allowing a smaller donation is to keep scammers away.

Hmm that does sort of make sense. Well was just a thought, would defiantly get a lot more people donating.

Yep, that pretty much sums it up.

As for donor status I am unsure why anyone would want to get it if they could not afford it, unless they wanted to open a BST thread. In that case usually one is able to make back the money spent on donor easily.

I thought the idea of being a donor is only dong so if/when you can afford it and usually because you are now making money thanks to this forum and so you are giving something back. Not just donate when you don't have the money.

Personally i dont know why some people rush do become a donor just for the 'status symbol' when they are still clueless with IM and not making any money yet and therefore focusing on the wrong things!

You can donate whatever amount you want, I'm sure nobody will get mad at you if you send some money to payments@blackhatworld.com.

I mean donating is about giving money to support a cause (or forum) without expecting anything in return, not a status symbol.......right?

Thats true, there is no limit on the amount you can donate, from $1 to $1,000,000. There's no reason why you can't just donate to help the cause of BHW. Most people though, only donate to get JrVIP or Donor status, and only donate the bare minimum required for that of $97/year.
