Why is this forum so unstable?

Hey everyone. Is anyone else experiencing some downtime with this forum? Numerous times I am getting a "Bad Gateway" error and sometimes the site doesn't load at all. Sometimes I would type a comment and when I go to submit it, the site is dead. It doesn't load and I get a "page cannot be found" error. I can't even browser and read the threads properly because of this. Anyone else on the same boat as me?

Same for me. For some reason I cant even log in from my internets ip address and am having to visit via my VPS. I couldn't post ANYTHING yesterday kept getting gateway errors.

Yea....I tried to post 3-4 times yesterday and got the same error....they need a new server or something

I believe they are getting DDOS attacks thats why

I thought there was something wrong with my computer so I tried a few different devices, even tried using tapatalk but its just too flaky. I hope they address the issues soon.

The forum is too important. Its the world core of IM. Of course many people will attack.

It doesn't necessarily mean BHW is getting attacked guys. It could be just the massive amount of people who go to this site cause errors.

I remember them saying they were working on some new things for the forum. Probably just implementing them.

Yes I have had this trouble frequently.

I had that "gateway 500 error" most of last night whenever i would try to log in.

As DD announced earlier,this forum is going through various changes and hence it is going down.I think we shouldn't complain about it being unstable lately but should spread our support hand towards the team.

The owner is running some updates/major changes to the forum, There are a few threads stating this.

Basically they are working to make BHW a better place

Bhw is one of the best places on Internet, and its good they are working towards making it better!

I am not disputing the fact about the helpfulness of BHW. I find its information to be priceless. But as a new user who has recently found the site, it has been an unenjoyable experience at first. It certainly has been a lot better, especially today. I am just saying, if another new user came along and saw all the downtime, they probably would have left and not have spread the news about the site; regardless of how you put it, the forum always needs new users so of course, user experience is important.

Nevertheless, I support and site 100% and if they need a few days to get everything up and running smoothly, I am willing to wait because I have found some great information here.

I think BHW moved to cloudflare, so it should be better in terms of speed atleast.

PS: You gotta admit the name "blackhat"world does sound like an open invitation DDOSER's.
