It seems you try to add url or some prohibited words in your posts.Post useful post normally.IT wont be a problem then.

Check if you have any .com / any type of tld in your post..

I will try to post some more first, the thing is I usually dont post since in most of the interesting threads my opinion has already been voiced by someone else. But I do have some IM-good to know guides coming when my post count increases.

I'm having the same problem. I have not a single tld or url or sales pitch in my post. It's a very well-intentioned post and I'm just plain confounded.

It's clear that the mods can't just tell us what their filters are, but OTOH, it really frustrates new users who are trying to make meaningful contributions.

You have to fiddle and experiment a little more. Eventually you'll find what the words are that are being blocked. It's a hassle but fairly easy to get around. I think (hope) the only real point is to stop spammers from posting URLs, since the rest is easy to work around.

Yes i too have the same problem. I think mods must look deep into this issue. They can assign some user group to new users restricting to post in certain group instead of this trigger.

read the forum rules first. There are restrictions regarding posts. You you just write normal sentences without links it should be ok.

This is sad, i have written a really long post(which i had the reflex to copy-paste somewhere else) and after removing several stuff i still can't figure what keeps giving me this message i have no URL's, accounts ) It's well-intended.

Yeah, I hear that SebastianG - I had a similar experience. Like you, I *always* copy & paste that stuff somewhere else before submitting. If you haven't figured it out yet, look for "curse" words, cuz those are on the list, too.

Yep I think this thing goes way overboard. I just spent 30 mins typing up a mamoth post only to find it won't submit now. It has no URLs, swear words, or anthing 'promotional' about it. Now I'm going to have to go out an make 15 bogus posts just so I can get my one approved..... I know its here to stop spam. but does it need to be that hard for new users to post something??

I have the same problem. This restriction is also killing me.
but again, there is hardly any other way to stop spammers.
