Allow Sellers to Edit First Post
+1 from me for B/S/T section.
Sellers can update their thread with the latest pricing, and include testimonials as they come so potential client can see everything at one go instead of looking for the latest post from seller to see the status of the service.
If you agree say "aye"!

Re: Allow Sellers to Edit First Post
aye, number of times I've had to read 10-20 pages to find offer is changed/closed
If you feel like thanking someone, thank a mod.

Re: Allow Sellers to Edit First Post
It cant be, if we allow to change the first post, there will be chances, where member will be selling the services, which are not reviewed by mods.
Example : Thread Title : Link wheel services.
members will be approved only for link wheel, but later they will provide xrumer blast and sb blast in the same thread, without staff review. we cant police each and every sales thread. So Its not allowed.

Re: Allow Sellers to Edit First Post
Maybe they could reserve the second post and only edit it for promotion and price change. That way they cant change the overall info(1st post), just the price. Buyers can just look at the second post for promotions, ect.

Nope, because the posts can only be edited until a certain time after posting. After that, it cant be edited at all, unless the person is a mod.
What we do now is PM a mod with the patched thread and the mod takes time to update the first post.
I would give a +1 if there was a feature like we could edit the first post, and that becomes live only after a mod clicks APPROVE button.
Another work around is to upload an image as the first post to your server, and edit the image and re-upload whenever you want a change. *Make sure you dont sell without permission, just like what Bigbuddy said in his post above.*
