Let's not see the rules "bent", let's see people abide by them as they are in place for a variety of reasons of which the main one is to keep the site as clean as possible.

Its probably because you've only been a member for 2 weeks and I would say its unique to the JV section and posting there. Just a guess though but that would make sense to me.

I am curious about the same thing. Does anyone know how many posts you need and how long you need to be a member before you can post in the JV area?

Well it makes sense to me. In JVs there is almost always someone putting money up to someone else; scams happen often. To make sure you don't just fire up a proxy and create a new account to scam someone I'd say its a good rule. Again though, just speculating I haven't read the rules in a long while.
