Just a thought, it seems a big question for us annoying newbies is 'What can I do for free?' or whatever spun version of the question.

Would it perhaps save some time and annoying questions to designate a free/get started section? Anything related to free tools/services/methods etc would fit and it would serve as a sort of stepping stone.

Just a thought.
