about the only annoying thing i find is visiting a section of the
forum and seeing the same questions asked over and over again
because people dont read the thread posts, and some noobies
wonder why some people get irritated. its like seeing 15 posts of
    > what time is it > reply 3 oclock - then 14 other noobs type the
same question as a new thread over and over, ughhh

also notice alot of members joining recently just to do the spammy
link thing ... and ille report em all
another thing ive noticed is members joining with 1 post
buying a donor rank with no bst or sales thread , then promoting there
websites in there sigs to there payed products which if i have read correctly
    is against bhw rules

i reported one guy who has 1 in his last month
advert is still there with no bst or sales thread - but other
people who do the same have there sigs removed.
hopefully when the mods have free time they will get him 2 i dont
envy any mod moderating this site its a hell of a job

I couldn't agree with this statement more. I think something should be done. We were all clueless at one point.

There have been many times I've used google for some information (coding, design, how to fix my vcr, how to convert a file). Sometimes, the first few results go to a forum with a question from a newb similar to mine.....but then, the next 5 responses to the question is 'use the search button,'....in the end, nobody answers the question. I think to myself, what a f*ing waste of time....i hit the back button and never go back to site again....if the answer was more constructive i probably would have bookmarked the site or signed up.

Some instinctively roll their eyes when a newb asks the same question that has been asked on a board many times before....the typical response is, 'use the search button', 'this has been asked before' But then the SAME people will complain that newbs are bumping old posts from 2007....and then they complain, that it is the newbs who are ruining the board.....

ok, i get it.....you don't want to be bothered by the same lame questions and just want people to post things you care about....like, real unique money making methods that YOU can use. But have you thought for a moment how much you benefit from the repetition of these questions?

let's say a newb asks, 'how do i promote my video/product on youtube?' or ‘what are some good back linking software', you might sit there and think, 'oh my god, what a lame newb....he could have just used the search button...that was asked last month/last week/yesterday....' but then you read 5 responses later a method or a technique you never thought of before and think, 'god damit, i never thought of that.'...or maybe you'll actually come up with a unique idea you never thought of, considered, or read before…..all because the 'lame' question/discussion got you thinking in a new way.

The same questions will be asked over and over. The same methods will be posted and reposted. You won't appreciate it UNTIL you realize how much you learn by answering ‘easy’ questions on a regular basis...you might think a question is elementary, but then you wake up one day with a unique idea nobody else has come or when you connect 2-3 methods/ideas together that you never thought would work up with of a newb's 'annoying' question.

There have been a lot of people who've been coming up with ideas to restrict the newbs....but i gotta tell you, i've seen newbs who've had their ideas locked in jr. vip (as requested by some of you) or have been accelerated to jr. exec vip because of the jaw dropping ideas/techniques/methods they've come up with. Ironically, I haven't seen anybody come up with rules restricting newbies buying anything from sellers on the forum (such as newbs must have post count of 100 and be on the board for 3 months before they buy anything), and forcing sellers to refunds to the newbs who have bought services/products on the board....they might annoy you, but i bet nobody here has a problem taking $$ from a newb....

Your experience on bhw is what you make of it. if you think that it is the newbs ruining your experience then consider that maybe it is you who is spoiling your fun. If you think the quality of posts aren't where they should be, maybe you should be contributing more quality posts. If you think nobody's sharing like they should, maybe you should be sharing more? If you think the collective IQ of the board less than that of a shoe, maybe your contributions will increase it by a few points. Instead of being on the lookout for fresh new money making methods to leech, you can be on the lookout for more ‘easy’ questions to answer. Of all the questions that you can easily answer, how many CAN”T you answer…because IMO, if you’re not being challenged by newbs then maybe you're not the one challenging yourself hard enough....if a newb asks: 'How can i get more traffic to my website? What's a good way to increase my adsense revenue?' ask yourself....how can I get more traffic to MY websites? What are ways I can increase MY adsense revenue? use each question as a step up to further enhance your skills and knowledge....normally when a newb asks, ‘how do I do x’ they really mean, how do I do xyz’ maybe somebody could have done a search b4 posting...but you have the power to answer, push the back button, or hit the report button if the posts violate the rules

Ask yourself, what experiences do you expect from your time on the forum...what do you want? Do you want to leech methods from people who know more than you? Is that why the newbs bug you so much? No quick and easy methods for you to copy? Or do you want to have the ability to create and develop your own unique idea for making $$$.....the only way to be unique is to learn your trade....and the best way to learn something is to teach others. IMO, for every 1 newbie that posts a lame question 5-10 regulars could be answering/contributing in a way that would raise the bar....imo...it's not the newbies who are at fault....

What can you do if you come across a dumb spammer or an annoying newb that is trolling or breaking the rules? Just report it and we'll remove it. if a person is spamming, we'll ban him......you're real weapon against spammers and trolls is the report button. but if a person is asking a 'stupid question' then it is in your best interest to answer him....or to just leave the thread alone....i suggest you use the opportunity to be helpful and less alienating....

Final note: you’d be surprised how many posts about this same topic has come up in the past….about three pages worth of info spanning 2-3 years....how many of you did a search b4 posting??

    jmo

now, stop worrying about what the newbs are thinking and get back to work making the monies ....

Thats not the entire case we do not want them to go away we want a better start for them.I see the same ideas come from all walks here that think a beginners spot is a good idea.I do not mind that people read into this wrong at first but if they read the thread they will find out we do not hate noobs but want better for them.

people need to know how to use the search function, instead of wasting space.

edit: people should know how to learn sh*t on their own. it's not about 'noob'. it's about some people not even bothering to find out sh*t that's been said before (and right in front of their face!). SEARCH is there for a reason. i see at least three or four things a day being asked over and over. if people searched beforehand, they wouldn't be wasting space by asking again.

people need to take some initiative, and find stuff out.
How else do you learn things on your own? Yes you can search, but sometimes your exact question cannot be answered. Obviously some people should have some experience but being in this forum for over a month or so, I have learned so much more then I have in the last year in any other forum because all of the people here are THE BEST IMers out there. If I were to sit in Warrior Forum or digital point, (no disrespect) I would be learning near nothing. Everyone was once there and as I am there now, learning at a exponential rate.

Wasting space asking questions that sound dumb to you is nothing more then a nusome to you. Ignore it if you want, if you remember when you were a noob, answer the question and help a fellow out. If not, its not hurting you. I will soon be up where you guys are and I will remember how hard it was for me to get my questions answered in the beginning, because honestly no one really does answer many of my questions. I will read the threads and learn for now.

    Just my opinion

I'm okay with limits, but I would suggest that they be geared mostly toward making sure they can handle posting with some level of decorum and civility.

Let's be honest. The following topic is posted about 250 times a day, and it annoys the shit out of everyone, but it's not something you cn completely blame the person for. They don't realize how common it is.

hi i am to want make mony with inernet can some kind one to show me plz
For those in SEO, I'm sure they love this one:

hi i want for to be on top of gogle for make mony online how to do that help pleas help
For those of us in emailing, we get a kick out of these ones:

hi i need send 80 millon email for in today how to do this as free plz
And then there are the general ones:

hi i can be new and needing 120 thousand in traffics in tomorow morning who can do plz
hi how to earn to make a money with internet i will to make million by in 2 week how how

These, as much as they make us laugh, are probably from people who don't know any better.

Maybe a quiz would be helpful for anyone wishing to sign up.
