Awhile back I posted a thread and asked for suggestions for the best tagline for BHW...please vote for the tagline you like the most for BHW!

They were all decent, but nothing made me like one way better than the other. I just voted for number 2.

1,9 and 10 would make the banner and tagline a little monotonous i.e black and back overload.

The new header chosen is graphically awful and now it would seem the tag is to be chosen from a list of inappropriate slogans.

What a shame!...It all could have been so professional, top-class and FREE'...If Admin had chosen a professional graphic designer.

I realise I'm making enemies with this post but the truth should not be feared. I am stating fact not opinion and can back it up. What the hell are you guys smoking?

I really don't understand.

You have a new logo - which incorporates the 'Blackhat SEO Forum' tag. I objected to that in the logo vote - because this forum isn't all about SEO (or perhaps it is and all the other posts are just my wild imaginings).

Now you have a list of tags which bear no relation to anything. Rather than casting votes for this couldn't you ask for suggestions (unless I missed that bit beforehand) - and, please, please let whatever is picked replace that 'Blackhat SEO Forum'.

I'm not voting for any of these - they just aren't good enough.

Instead of pointing out negative things try to contribute a more suitable tagline...if it's good I can add it. I agree the new logo may not be the most brandable but it was what the majority of people wanted. Nothing is set in stone in life and things can always be changed. I never had a chance to give feedback on the logos so who knows in a month or 2 there could be Logo Contest Part 2. I know a forum that switches its logo every week...

I really hope it doesn't turn out to be #1. That phrase was overused 5 years ago, and while it does take on a different meaning here, I still associate it with something completely different and don't think I could work it out in my mind for this site.

I do like a few of the others though. My favs are 2, 7, and 9. I wish Nevarc's would have been added before I had voted. I really like it.

I don't see any reason why the current logo has to be set in stone, just because it received the most votes. Surely we could rotate logos every few days and try them out, until we find one that seems to fit the best.

As for this not being an SEO forum, that IS the main purpose of this forum. Everything else is just kind of a bonus.

And as for the tagline, if we keep the current logo, there will be no use for one, as it's already in the logo. However, I'd vote for #8 or #2. As I said before, #1 just sounds like the tagline for some sleezy ebony porn site like blacksonblondes.com...

I always ignore these type of questions, because most people are much better at giving suggestions then I am.
I don't know if this is still open for suggestions, but it's not closed either.

Black Hat always gives me the impression of something you cannot touch.
So I was thinking along the lines of

Always one step ahead
casts the invincible shadow

And just for fun : Zorro.

These are just what springs to mind with the term black hat, they are not finished slogans.
