I've disabled post count for certain sections
Just thought I'd give everyone a heads-up, I've disabled posts from counting towards people's total post count in the following sections:
- Introductions
- The Lounge
- The Shit List
- Feedback
- BST
- WTB
- Downloads & Download Requests
This will prevent people from making it into Jr. VIP for just shooting the shit. I've also made it so that Newbies with less than 50 posts cannot request a download. I got a little tired of every other post in there being a request for a friggin WSO.

I can see the point Essential Clix, but as a newbie to this forum I am only just beginning to add some downloads to this wonderful place.
If I and others are adding good quality stuff and it's not counting to Jr VIP then we would not get there as we should (for downloads only).

We do appreciate your shares, it's the other noobs spamming your threads with the "great share" posts that ruin it for everyone. So, unfortunately, shared downloads will not count toward post count. Also, I'm sure some of you won't agree with my BST decision. But, to be honest, we're going to start soft-deleting BST threads after a certain time limit, so your post count in that thread will be lost anyway.

Nick, it was a pretty good example though, and some posts, don't you think, of why some areas shouldn't count towards post counts? Plus it showed him that this is a UN like forum, UNBHWO?, without it flaring in to a true mess later.
The only better ones would be the short 'Ug, elephants.' and 'Thnks, nice share.' posts.
