Cannot view site from Home
Hello,
I cannot view this site from home. It works perfectly in the office. I get a warning saying that my ip is banned. I have not done anything nasty nor have I received any infraction or notification for the same.
I submitted about 10-15 messages but of no avail. Can the admins help? I can send my ip address if you want. The last two octets of my ip are dynamic.
Best Regards,
- BH Freak

Re: Cannot view site from Home
'...For a couple of weeks a while back, I was unable to log onto BHW unless I went through a proxy and then suddenly, it all changed and has been 'normal' until about 30 minutes ago when my IP provider advised me that there was an interruption in the Internet speed due to a problem they were working on.
Since supposedly solving the problem, I am now back to only being able to access through a proxy. I have tried to open BHW with seven different browsers and cannot get in. All other websites seem o.k.
I presume this is an IP problem and I am about to contact them, or is it coming from the BHW servers?...I don't know, but you are not alone Black Hat Freak.

I am at a camp for a college, it wont let me log in or view threads, so I just use a proxy site. it really isn't that bad the pages load quickly

Re: Cannot view site from Home
I get a message that my ip is banned by the admin. It means that it comes from BHW. They must have blocked my ISP or something. I have no clue.

Re: Cannot view site from Home
When I am logged in and then go to another website and then come back to BHW, it doesnt load up properly until I click the banner at the top of the page.

Re: Cannot view site from Home
I had the same problem yesterday, it resolved itself on its own. It was weird. I went to my work office which is less than 1 mile from my house, on the same ISP and it worked. It was just at home that it didnt work.

Re: Cannot view site from Home
This happened to me yesterday too. Delete your cookies and log back it. That fixed it for me.

Re: Cannot view site from Home
I sometimes have issues in FF, but if I clear my cookies and cache it all clears up.
Hope that helps,

Re: Cannot view site from Home
i tried deleting my cookies
it was a server side issue, not a client side issue.
I couldnt even ping blackhatworld.com from home, 1 minute drive to my office, i could ping it find from there.

Re: Cannot view site from Home
Download a free copy of CCleaner at http://www.ccleaner.com/ and run it.
Then reboot your computer and you should be ok.
Good luck,
