Can someone explain the stars, ratings, etc.?

I am not that familar with VBulletin/BHW forum and the ratings. What do the stars and colors of the stars represent?

People who donate have a DONOR badge next to their stars.

Its more than post count, you have 600+ but only 2 stars, while other people with 300 posts have 3+ stars. It must be a combination of posting, donor, and times you have been thanked.

His stars and other people's stars are different. Check the shading and coloration. It is related to post count and post count alone.

I've been wondering the same question. I guess I was too scared to post it and get laughed at. However, I still do not know what it means???

Okay. I'll break it down. For you first 500 posts you get these stars:

One for each 100 posts that you have. So at 225 posts, you have:

When you get to 500 posts, you switch to these stars:

Once again, a new star for every 100 posts. So, at 713 posts (such as myself) you see:

You get blue stars as you reach certain post plateus. The first set of stars is a blue that looks frazzeled at the bottom. Whn you have posted enough to get like five stars you start over with ONE solid blue star. So on and so forth.......

Besides the stars though:

I'm still waiting to see if anyone will EVER get as many of those green markers under their stats as HaRRo has.

It looks like there was a certain rating system that was later changed which is why some peoples stars and colors dont seem to add up.

If I put the gold stars back where they were, it would confuse people even more, as the colors would just be all over the place again

The stars -- the number and color of the stars -- progress as your post count progresses. Each color scheme has 5 stars in total. That way, the color of the stars start out dark and turns brighter as your post count increases. It goes from shades of blue all the way up to yellow/gold. I haven't decided if I should make white the final color not. Note that this is still a work in progress.
