No PM's until a certain number of posts?

It seems like we're getting quite a few new accounts posting some crap rip-off shit info and then asking for PM's so you, too, can be a gazillionaire.

This scammy shit really gets on my nerves.

Should there be an activation point for PM's?

Say, 25 posts or something?


This would drastically cut down on the amount of one hit wonders who post at BHW once to promote their shitty product.

Moreover why would an honest new member need to send pm's in his first days?

Maybe instead of disabling PMs for new members, we could just more frequently report members who are spamming. You wouldn't want to throw out the baby with the bath water, so to speak.
