New mod soon?

how will you go about appointing a new mod(s)?

I would still like to see new members be able to join here, because we often catch some pretty talented input! i would also think it may be cool for you to make a VIP section, for those kind of tools we were talking about that i have or other members have, that might be considered warez in some places.

Right now I would like to be the only one moderating the forums until I feel comfortable with everyone and know who is who.

A VIP section sounds like a great idea..I'll have to do some thinking of what the benefits would be to join.

I think that if Dave appoints a Moderator he should be doing a regular checkup and don't leave total authority to the moderator to run the forum. As with anything, business or property, the owner should see that everything is running smoothly, they may have a Manager, in this case a moderator, who control the day to day running of the forum, but leaving it totally up to the moderator is jolly run for creating a rat nest, the owner should always do a checkup. Just my 2cents.

I own 30 vbulletin forums (not all of them are popular) and out of all the forums I own I have never had a moderator destroy the forums as much as SP23. Most do well without me for weeks or months at a time. If and when I do appoint a moderator you can count on me sticking around the forums
