Close blackhat world to registered users.
Why don't we minimize the risk of getting our stuff leaked out on gay sites like DP and close off the ability to view posts and threads to registered users only ?

Search engines bring in the majority of new users.

I agree, BHW needs to go underground and become a paid membership site.

It's true, that's how I got here in the first place. I'd be the first to sign up and pay if BHW became a membership site (of course, I pay for Jr. VIP anyway), but I don't know. Sure noobs are flooding in by the thousands these days but plenty of intelligent, helpful, and resourceful members who genuinely deserve to be here also sign up. I think sometimes they may get lost in the flood because - gasp - they take time to sit back and read, and maybe take action, instead of making 50 threads asking what CU stands for every day.

Re: Close blackhat world to registered users.
Ultimately, it is Diamond Dave's choice, but when we've brought this to a public vote in the past, the response has been overwhelmingly negative.

Re: Close blackhat world to registered users.
that is a very selfish move.
I don't think that's Diamond Dave's purpose of this site but I could be wrong.
OP. Why don't you start a blackhat pay site see it works for you?

Re: Close blackhat world to registered users.
I didn't suggest a pay site, I suggested that they must register to view the content. Even tho it brings new users in the long run all I am seeing is posts like the ones on DP, help me with this, what does this do, how do i make 1billion in the next 30 seconds... Also if you share something valuable it is posted all over the internet on every site possible so its ruined and saturated.

Re: Close blackhat world to registered users.
I really don't see how that would help. How bout they close the registration and make it invite only. And only registered member can view threads. And make a minimum monthly post count. Many torrent sites do this and it works well.

Re: Close blackhat world to registered users.
Every great methods revealed here will enter saturation phase faster-than-the-speed-of-sound when a member hit that 'Post' button.
The key here, that separates boys from the men, noobs from the vets, is to use that creative juice and come up with innovative spin, once the guy reads a possible munny making method.
So, BHWers who know what they're doing won't left scraping the leftover bones and will keep their brain spinning with dollar sign, thanks to great methods found here.
As for the other guys who just copy and paste the method in raw, well...

Re: Close blackhat world to registered users.
i just find it very selfish jake but to each its own.
don't forget you were a noob at some point before you learned some good methods.
And I believe DiamondDave made this site for the purpose of helping others.
he doesn't care if methods gets saturated in the long run but at the same time it promotes the smart ones to find new methods while obsolete or time consuming methods are passed on to the noobs. Or create/hire noobs for tedious jobs.
I just think it is very wrong.

Get your attention? Perfect !!
There should be some plugin that makes it easy to report the posts made by the people saying "how do I do this", "thanks", "Great help" and those cluttering it up so it hides it after some threshold and we don't have to look at it after some time instead of reporting and admins having to do it manually Something like a 'digg down' thing.
I also suggest a "popular posts today" to increase work efficiency and not having to manually look through all new threads.

Selfish are you serious ? Saturating methods is useless no one would make money then. Also the point is so that it minimizes the methods to be leaked all round the net and sold. That is selfish to me when some stupid cunt copy pastes the whole post and calls it an ebook. Trows it round the forums for 15$ a copy when it was written for free. Thats selfish, and stupid. I wouldnt want to share my methods here especially when they will be sold for money.

Re: Close blackhat world to registered users.
Wait I thought as JR VIP you get a private section for post is this not true? I am new and have benefited from the site true enough. However I agree the search engine brought me here, but it should be invite only. Then again who would have invited me? I fully intend to make good posts on this site once I've made XXXX's from a spinned method. I have stopped my useless threading of what the this and learned how to search my answers in this 1 million + posts. Again however everytime i find a good method somebody has already juiced the hell out of it! Oh well needless to say since I know about Jr VIP I probably won't post any of my current and original ideas in the public post for obvious reasons. I doubt anybody is doing that anymore though. Ideas I have twisted though I will post. Bottom line I would pay for Privacy hands down.

Not the whole site but at least some of the important sections like 'Downloads' should be restricted to the member.

A large private section and a public section. Keeps basic questions and noobs at bay and the serious stuff for those who actually use it.

Re: Close blackhat world to registered users.
Dont know if this can be done but, i would like to see an open registration for anyone but a subscription base for posting, or some sort of "free" membership for 30 days so new members have a chance to look around and read but then switch over to some sort of subscription base. Ultimately, i would like this place to be subscription based to anyone that has no donate/jr.vip sign next to them, i think that would cut out the crap and keep only the serious members here.
Just my 2cents

Re: Close blackhat world to registered users.
What about some sort of progressive unlocking of sections.
You know, sign up as a noob, and you only have access to so much, then as you progress while adding quality posts and contributing positively overall gaining thanks, you slowly start to unlock other sections that won't be so readily available to the spies and noobs who could otherwise make a mess of it all with such ease.
In a way right now, we are our own worst enemy.

Re: Close blackhat world to registered users.
Im suggesting that all those cool methods that others share must be hidden somewhere and users that can get into that section must have some difficult stats like 100 post and clean rep with no negative iTraders. And yes i agree on that plug-in that deletes posts like \'How can I make 200 million in 30 seconds\' \'thanks\' \'nice\' \' welcome\'.

What would you do if a registered member leaks the information? How are you gonna catch him? I am not accusing anyone but you have to think of all possiblities...

Re: Close blackhat world to registered users.
Is there an estimate on how much money somebody lost, because of the method was sold on DP? Please guys, be real. We can all atleast agree that methods posted here, are on the verge of uselessness, because of the saturation or something similar. And there is no guarantee that even Jr. Vips aren't actually the ones who are selling methods on DP, so closing this forum to anyone except paying members would result in nothing (of course due to decreased number of members it would be easier to guess who sold something on DP, but no one like to bother with that stuff).

Close blackhat world to registered users. [YES]
Lets close this forum from any new registrations. Period.
The one thing that drove me to the edge is the amount of $5 bribes for traffic...
IN THE MAKING MONEY FORUM!!!
PLEASE, WE'RE BECOMING ANOTHER DIGITALPOINT!
PLEASE, WE'RE BECOMING ANOTHER WARRIOR FORUM
And have it so that every time the amount of members fall below... 80,000 or so (due to auto-pruning inactive users/banned users), to automatically re-open registrations.
Done, simple and will prevent methods from saturation/becoming DP/dickrolls/leaks/etc.
Just look at the torrent world, this method works pretty well.
People who want to learn can come in, and party-poopers stay out (Most of the time).
So, in conclusion, let's close and prune blackhatworld. Those who really want to learn will find a way in.
...
And for the others, just imagine if Harvard suddenly opened their doors for every person to enter. It would no longer be as good as it currently is right?
P.S Close BlackHat World --> YES
P.S.S Cmon Diamond Dave, it is the right thing to do (Remember, once we lose our online reputation, it is impossible to regain)

Re: Close blackhat world to registered users.
Are you saying close registrations, or the ability to view forums without being registered?
I thought googlebot could handle username/passwords if you gave it to them. So closing off to registered members wouldnt be a probem. But i dont agree on closing registrations all together.

Re: Close blackhat world to registered users.
with due respect to all the members of BHW who are concerned about information getting leaked out of the site........
i am a complete newbie or a noob whatever, you name it. AND I DONT BELIEVE THAT SIMPLY because a guy a spares a few dollars out of his pocket, he is supposed to have a higher sense of integrity than those who have not shelled anything.... come on guys, BHW is gold mine... no money is enough to give back what our community is doing for us or can do for us.....
i accept that i am from a not so fortunate third world country .. but that is not the only reason for me to write this post.....
The community is what it is now , largely due to the generousity of its members....
i respect BHW...
AND THANKS FOR SPARING YOUR TIME TO READ THE THOGHTS OF A HUMBLE NEWBIE...
