A new moderator taking their status too far already

ok so i wouldnt post this shit normally but its got silly. i noticed a thread yesterday announcing new trial mods. thats great but not if they take their status too far.. the ewhoring section has had numerous threads closed for fuckall.. some threads deleted for fuckall.. they were fine before the new trial mod so why change now? sorry but had to get it off my chest. if i did wrong then forgive me but something needed to be said

Its sad what power can do to a person. I hope the offending parties chill out a wee but as ive already seen a few posts complaining about the new mods.

Hope all gets sorted soon, this forum is way to valuable!!.

Hey Guys,

I know the threads and mod you are talking about. I just wanted to offer my opinions on these thread removals.

The ewhoring subforum has become somewhat of a mess in recent months, with the arrival of a variety of networks that make ewhoring more profitable for for the novice to intermediate level. The idea behind some of these thread removals is to consolidate the following types of threads:

O Hai - I made 1k today on (random network) but im just bragging and wont share anything of value or even discuss my methods
O Hai - (random network) is shaving my leads and I feel it deserves a thread of its own
ORly - I think network X is better than network Y but Im not giving any info other than my stats.

This subforum has some real gems, and if you notice the new sticky for taking all of the above type posts - hopefully these gems should once again shine through.

The fact that certain threads are being closed is to clean up the place somewhat. Its to make the whole place better and more of a resource for ALL types of ewhoring - not just the CU/SC's of the world.

Since I'm also a new moderator - I'll discuss this with you - but I aint gonna tolerate random insults and bitchy posts - lets keep this constructive as it has been so far.

I think its a good thing, bhw seems to have grown massively even in the last year and a lot of good info is getting watered down by pointless/duplicate posts by some of the newer members.

I think its good for bhw that these posts are being deleted/locked because without this it could very well develop into more of a dp type forum.

I have to say, I've seen so many posts with totally pointless content within them, questions which don't need topics, it is about time peopel start to clear up the forums so they can once again be a information gold mine, instead of a newbies spamming everywhere asking questions which have been asked 100 times before.

For my part I love this forum - its become my Internet home during this year - has made me a heck of a lot of money in the process - and a lot of very close friends.

I hear what both of you are saying (alex and spud) - and I agree 100% - this is not a some ego thing, its a honest to goodness effort to filter some background noise out.

they won't delete a good post... and if it is not a good post DELETE IT!

It is good that someone is here to clean up BHW!

One good idea for here is to do exactly what cpaaddict did - if theres feedback keep it here, all we want is a more focused and productive board - more money and security for everyone.
