Spammer23 has been officially banned from Black Hat World...He's lied, cheated, stole and manipulated many people and today I am putting an End to it!

Well, you did the right thing Dave. Sad kinda, as you actually
gave him chance to reconcile the situations at hand too. Looks
like he didnt't even attempt to.
I said it as soon as I entered this forum. I see people like this
all the time, and they are so easy to spot. All you have to do is
watch how they type online and it will give you many characteristics
to properly evaluate a person. Good marketers use psychology when they
are trying to sell. All I ever seen was greed and desperation.
Get yourself someone that isn't going to sell to your members and actually
comes to forums looking to help other people. Those are the best type of people to be around. People who go out of their way everyday just to lend a helping hand or looking to engage in friendly conversation. Forums like these are intended for that very thing. Somewhere along the lines he must have forgot that, or wasn't properly educated in forum etiquette.
In any case, at least everyone will be able to express their personal opinions and research without fear of reprecussions (SP?)...kudos to you Dave
for taking back what is yours and being the kind of guy you are, I would expect exponential growth here now that the bad seeds are being wiped.

I think he is just a bad seed. In the end he didn't care about anyone but himself and $.
Right after I made the decision to ban him, he starts spamming Black Hat World Forums lol. So you know he was reading every word we wrote regarding the situation.
I think he made like 10 accounts in the last couple minutes. I have temporarily suspended new member registration until things cool down! I think everyone needs a little rest.

Good, we really don't need someone like that in this forum. He had a chance to fix things and did not even try to explain himself. That just proves what kind of person he is, greedy and self centered. Sad but true, not all of us are made to live in this society and participate equally.

He showed his nature.. and he'll do this pettiness again... but one day a teacher will appear, and he will learn a hard lesson.

All I can say is that I actually made money when he was around. If nobody else did, then how can that be his fault? There's a law in psychology that says it's easy to unite people as long as they have a common enemy, even if they themselves were enemies.
Shame on you Dave, you like playing innocent, but then go on to state in another post that you didn't have time to be bothered when the guy contacted you. Maybe you should have been a little more hands on? Try communicating with people more instead of using them as scapegoats, because I feel you knew FULL WELL what was going on and profiting as well.

Diabolik, spammer23 had asked me if he could advertise for a week or two his myspace tactics and I thought sure why not. Did I know he was going to make money? I did but did not know at what Price or to what EXTENT.
I come back weeks later and see it plastered everywhere and then I removed the ads because they made me sick. I come back several weeks lateryet again and the forum is plastered with ads for bit torrents. I have told all forum members I am sorry I left and take full blame in appointing a shiity moderator.
Please answer why he has not refunded seosoft money yet? It' over $250 which he has no right to keep. If he had just refunded people's money there would be less of a problem.

Yes that is a good suggestion about removing his posts. I will take a look at things over the weekend.
I know nothing about what he owes anybody. I only know that I made money with things he put out...until they died due to oversaturation. I think it's stupid in the first place to sell products to thieves, because they just go request it be hacked at another forum using another name. Now you look at all the torrent sites and you see all these bogus torrents written in pigeon english by people who stole the guy's product elsewhere. Then they come looking for his help because they can't figure it out and kill the technique, then cry because they're not making money. It's all ri-goddamn-diculous!
wow - I left for a week or so - in the middle of the PMBlaster thing - I just wanted to know why he was comparing it to xrumer if they did totally different things - the guy went nuts on me - He looked up my info and threatened to "take care of the situation in the real world" and "pay me a visit".
I swear I never even knocked the product, never used it, never saw it...just wanted to know why it was compared.
I sent his threat message to the FBI cybercrimes division in Northern Virginia anyway so they logged the incident. They categorize it as "internet harassment" or something...I've never done anything like that but I found his threats very unusual and knew I was dealing with a less than intelligent kid/teen, whatever.
And, I actually thought this was his forum????
He said things like "why do you knock PMBlaster in it's home forum"
Looking back, I realized he was the one with the big "suckered.us" fiasco about how amazing it is to make subdomains...I recall questioning that, along with others, and just never getting a straight answer as to why that is so special?
On another look back, I remember asking straight up if the whole torrents thing was just packaging a pay-per-install on a popular program/file and then file sharing it. He replied "not at all - this is torrents not file sharing" ...or something close to that...I was like, WTF? This guy is pimping this thing but he doesn't even know what the torrent world is about? I just dropped it at that point.
In any case, if anyone wants a real good laugh, check out the syndk8 forum thread on this topic I started. Those guys do not hold back and ripped him so hard for so long it was painful to see him squirm.

If you filed a dispute with paypal you should be fine, although it may take some time for them to refund your money. If you do a chargeback with your credit card, your credit card company will refund your money right away (at least mine does).

Spammer was deleting genuinely helpful posts, and posters, and steering the dialog toward nothing but glowing praise of himself and his products.
I'm sure you will find someone better to help you around here. I'm glad that creep is gone. At least your forum is a forum again; it was actually becoming a protracted, incoherent ad for his products.

As far as I can tell from reading the thread, the problem has nothing to do with making money; the problem has to do with lying, cheating, stealing and manipulation.
Sure, money can be made by lying, cheating, stealing and manipulation. Making money using such tactics is variously called "theft", "fraud", "larceny", "grifting" ... et cetera
Call me crazy, but some of us have issues with such activities. I mean, you can make money by breaking and entering a home or business, or robbing a store or a bank ... possibilities are endless. Say, look at all of the elderly women with paid mortgages who need long-term health care, are you missing opportunities there to lie, cheat, steal and manipulate? Oh, you can kill people and make money too, don't miss out on those red-hot opportunities.
Some of us are just so silly with our scruples, aren't we?
